President Barack Obama doesn’t go anywhere without his TelePrompter.
The textbook-sized panes of glass holding the president’s prepared remarks follow him wherever he speaks.
Resting on top of a tall, narrow pole, they flank his podium during speeches in the White House’s stately parlors. They stood next to him on the floor of a manufacturing plant in Indiana as he pitched his economic stimulus plan. They traveled to the Department of Transportation this week and were in the Capitol Rotunda last month when he paid tribute to Abraham Lincoln in six-minute prepared remarks.
Obama’s reliance on the teleprompter is unusual — not only because he is famous for his oratory, but because no other president has used one so consistently and at so many events, large and small.
After the teleprompter malfunctioned a few times last summer and Obama delivered some less-than-soaring speeches, reports surfaced that he was training to wean himself off of the device while on vacation in Hawaii. But no such luck.

i could care less about his teleprompter it’s such a totally minor issue compared to what OthugO’s agenda within the 100 days.
Granted, however, articles such as this may help us remove his totally undeserved cloak of invulnerability.
What statements whould be made bt the media if W had to use these things ALL the time..the template was Bush was an idiot and needed someone to tell him what to say..this article says the same thing about Obama but without any smarky comments..

nice point but imho this kind of stuff is the STUFF of DISTRACTION by the MSM :)
It is not that he has to read the script, if he were writing it. Who is the brain behind the prompter? The Uh-man BO cant put two sentences together. Every one gets upset when a singer lip-syncs a song recorded by them in a studio, but do we know who is really scripting the puppet-pres.
Some people have mirrors on their bedroom ceiling...the Obamas teleprompters.
worse yet is that guy Gibbs/ the WH Press Secretary , now , everytime (he’s on all the time) I see him he’s like so much waaaaaaaaay into detail about what the next move is, now, correct me if I’m wrong but is this normal procedure for the 1st 100 days or not? this guy goes overboard in his explanations of “why this and why that’,( etc... etc... etc...as the King of Siam said to Anna)
