Obama's Hatred of the Stock Market (Vanity)

Posted on 03/08/2009 10:04:17 AM PDT by pantherskincreek

While you have your mind on your 401K, remember that Zero, or as some call him "Obummer", does not care about your 401K.

Here is a quote from one of his typical speeches, taken from a story by Mark Stein:

"Virtually every time Obama deviated from the text, he expressed the partisan anger that has so poisoned the Democratic party... At one, point when addressing what we have to do for the economy, Obama ad-libbed, "The insurance and the drug companies aren't going to give up their profits easily . . . Exxon Mobil made $11 billion this past quarter..."

Obama's shot at Exxon Mobil's profits is strikingly disingenuous. He seems to be implicitly saying that the healthy earnings are good news for Mr. Exxon and Mr. Mobil, who will promptly stash most of the profits underneath their obviously outsized mattresses... Barack Obama is far too intelligent to not realize that many of the school teachers and union workers and working moms that so often people his more elegant speeches likely have an interest in Exxon Mobil's profits either from their retirement plan's portfolio or their union's holdings or their own investments that they actively manage...

Worse still was the threat to take away the profits of the drug and insurance companies. Perhaps Obama thinks that the drug companies will continue to develop life saving therapies out of benevolence, and that their employees will happily take the pay cuts that will accompany the loss of profits. ....."

I think the point here is that he knows exactly what he is doing and the first sentence from his quote is the tip off as to why.

Obummer has a dislike, no a hatred, of wealth and success that borders on the psychotic and which is the cornerstone of his economic beliefs and policy, nurtured and matured under the teachings of Frank Davis and Sol Linsky.

And we continue to wonder what he meant when he said that the US economy needed to fail? People just do not listen. And his wife was very pointedly making the point that he intended to “rule over you”, but people just laughed. Laughed their way into this mess, and some still haven’t gotten it. Some are still ‘waiting to see’. Good luck. At what point do you sound the alarm?

He's well aware of this, don't forget he worked on Wall Street "behind enemy lines" when he graduated Colombia. The sad fact is that most of the drones who support him have no clue. He's saying what he's saying for their benefit. You'd be surprised how many union members have no clue that their pensions are tied to the stock markets.

I thought it was interesting to see the media guys say that Obama probably doesn’t know what a PE ratio is. I’m sure it’s true, but it’s the kinda thing you would expect them to say about Bush—not Obama.

Obama looks at the securities markets as would anyone trained in class warfare...in his mind, the markets are the property of the haves and as such must be destroyed or confiscated.

Funny (or rather not so funny) that Obambi and his witch (with a B)of a wife who are richer than most Americans (and definitely richer than their Kenyan relatives) are so nastily hateful of Americans who actually make and produce wealth for others.

You would think that they have a little appreciation for the capitalist system that made them so rich. But Nooooooo.

You folks just don't understand what Obamanomics and "Change" are all about! He's simply trying to make stocks more affordable for the 'disenfranchised'. For example, even his broke-*ss brother in Kenya can now afford to buy shares in Sh*tiGroup. He couldn't do that under George Bush!

Barack Obama's 'lost' brother found in Kenya

George Hussein Onyango Obama,

brother was tracked down living in
a hut on the outskirts of Nairobi

Senator Barack Obama's long lost brother has been tracked down for the first time living in a shanty town in Kenya, reports claimed

Mr Obama, 26, the youngest of the presidential candidate's half-brothers, spoke for the first time about his life, which could not be more different than that of the Democratic contender.

"No-one knows who I am", he told the magazine, before claiming: "I live here on less than a dollar a month."

all his life he has been fed hatred of “rich white people” (even by his OK-off white mother and grandfather) and the idea that wealth and success came from rich white people exploiting and stealing from the poor

Is there any wonder he is indifferent to the loss of pensions and investment and savings of “rich white people”??

And all those “rich white people” like Warren Buffet and Bill Gates and Hollywood that cheered for this ideologue were just as naive as any capitalists in history that ever produced the rope the communists used to hang them

using his power of govt to take America's wealth and give it to “the poor” is bamsters way of “saving America's soul”- ask michelle. “America, we are the ones “you” have been waiting for.... Barak is going to save your souls...”

The bamster and his missus and ALL their black liberation/communist mentors stretching back to their teenage years...LITERALLY think they are doing everyone a favor to crash the economy- perhaps even the world financial system.

No wonder the european libs and even the Church, which talk a good wealth redistro game but never really thought anyone would DO it by force ... are nervous

My friend, apparently in perfect health, died this morning after a massive stroke. I can't help but wonder how much Mr. Obama’s destruction of capitalism contributed to his sudden death. After a lifetime of studying, working, saving, it's truly devastating to loose the money you'd carefully invested for retirement. Maybe Mr. Obama had a hand in this and maybe not, but I wonder.

You would think that they have a little appreciation for the capitalist system that made them so rich. But Nooooooo. It wasn't the capitalist system that made them rich, it was the power he gained through his community organizer intimidation tactics, and then the power he gained through the government. He has never earned an honest day's wage in his life.

If people who's only interest is taking from the government were not allow to vote we would never have had Obama (or McCain) nominated, much less elected.

The Obamas have “no skin in the game.” He’s not worried about how the stock market is going because he has next to nothing in the stock market.

You’re right in a way and I agree with you, but they still made money in America under it’s capitalist system.

You’re right of course that they’ve never made an honest day’s wage in their lives. They’re both parasites, liars and phonies.

What they are is hypocrites to take and covet money and then try to deny it to others.

This last election was a vote between the producers and the looters.

The looters won.

The producers will soon have to decide if they wish to continue to produce and feed the looters.

A US company, headquartered in a different country does not have to pay the payroll taxes of its employees.

Believe me, I don’t claim that it is right for these companies to leave American workers in the lurch. But, I understand their desire to escape the onerous reach of the government into their earnings.

"The insurance and the drug companies aren't going to give up their profits easily . . ."

In an unguarded moment, he's told us what he has in mind for the country.
Reminds me of Hillary's "We're going to take things away from you for the common good" threat.
