George W. Bush, his critics said, was isolated and unaware of how badly things were going in Iraq. He was caught up in a messianic vision to bring democracy to the Middle East. Meanwhile, he stubbornly clung to grandiose domestic policy proposals (e.g., social security reform and immigration reform) when the timing was simply not right. Some of that has been disproved by subsequent events (e.g., we did bring democracy to Iraq) or revelations about his own intimate involvement in reworking a failing Iraq strategy. But the image remained of an isolated and out-of-touch president.
As queasy as it might make us feel, we might consider that we have gone from the frying pan into the fire. Obama does not perceive things are substantially worse or that his “strategy” is failing. He also seems to have the timing terribly off as he discusses an onslaught of taxes and regulation while the economy is staggering. And to make matters worse we have no General Petraeus to help guide us back from the brink of ruin. We have instead Tim Geithner....

Obama’s not isolated or unaware of how things are in hip-hop America.
He needs to destroy the economy as quickly as possible so he can continue to blame GWB and the Republicans for the mess and claim that capitalism is failing. The Sheep out there will still fawn on his every word and he'll be held blameless, even praised for "trying" to fix things. The media will help cover his tracks and look for "enemies", like Limbaugh. Once he destroys the economy and our will to fight, that he can push his socialist agenda on us.

This writer assumes that Obama’s strategy is to make things better for America.I see his strategy as to make things worse for America so that he and other Socialist in Government can jam socialist policy and programs through without much fuss by Americans.
PBO is well aware of what is happening. It is what he wants, America brought to its knees so that he can institute the policies he wants.
He sees what is going on as an opportunity to do what he knows he never could in better times.

The first mutiny should be at the State level. The chances of success are much greater.
By accident the American people elected an affirmative action squirrel to be their “teleprompter Jesus” to take them to the imaginary land of Free Government Handouts where the Big Rock Candy Mountain overflows with soda water fountains, cigarette trees and they killed the jerk who invented work. I have this tune running in my head, it is the tune of “A Stranger in My House” but the words modified to say :
“A Traitor in White House”
It would certainly fit.
As long as the The Great Spreader’s poll numbers are above sizty percent, he’ll ignore all the critics and keep plowing ahead on his socialist path. That sixty plus also includes many Pubbies. We’re definitely headed for the cliff with no brakes.
