I could see Biden being better than Hussein, he might be the type to sit in the oval office and eat twinkies and let country recover on its own.

You forgot the last part: And then take credit for it. That's what dems do.

Good point, plus he was older than dirt and had more scars than Frankenstein, shows you what a metro sexual we have in DC.

This item from this morning on FR where Obama whined to the NYT’s about how hard is job is - he’s just now realizing that the “buck” is supposed to stop on his desk ...

Poor Baby Obama: I Have To Make The ‘Really Hard’ Decisions

Two big stories emerged from Pres. Obama’s interview with New York Times reporters aboard Air Force One yesterday:

1. we have a whining, self-pitying president. 2. The Times scrubbed from its article the worst of the president’s comments, the ones that revealed him in that self-pitying light.

This is why “character counts”. Ever since the Bubba presidency (Clinton) the country has been told that presidents can be trashy, weak charactered individuals and still do the job. No! We have to start looking at our leaders’ lives to see how they have held up under pressure and whether they have stuck to their guns and perservered through rough times. Rock stars need not apply when it comes to the responsibilities demanded by the most powerful office in the world. Fancy phrasing and catchy slogans will be blown away by the storms of reality when put to the test if there is no solid character backing them up. I fear that we have elected a paper mache figure to the presidency. He has never been tested. He is being tested now. Let’’s hope that there is some kind of framework inside that can stiffen in the breeze. Otherwise, I fear for our nation.

I predict Sarah Palin will continue to look better and better as the Messiah steadily comes down from the mountaintop.

If he's so tired he could:

1. Play less basketball

2. Cancel the Wednesday night bacchanals

3. Tell Michelle to get a fresh set of batteries. Women weaken legs.

4. Slow down and actually read the legislation he signs.

"That was the gamble these guys made at the front end of this presidency and I think they're finding it a hard thing to do everything."

Sounds like Eddie Murphy in Trading Places.
