"Officially, the organizer of the Washington demonstration was International ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War & End Racism). But ANSWER is run by WWP [Workers World Party] activists, to such an extent that it seems fair to dub it a WWP front. Several key ANSWER officials -- including spokesperson Brian Becker -- are WWP members. Many local offices for ANSWER’s protest were housed in WWP offices. Earlier this year, when ANSWER conducted a press briefing, at least five of the 13 speakers were WWP activists. They were each identified, though, in other ways, including as members of the International Action Center.
The IAC [International Action Center], another WWP offshoot, was a key partner with ANSWER in promoting the protest. It was founded by Ramsey Clark, attorney general for President Lyndon Johnson in the 1960s."

PROFILE: PARTY FOR SOCIALISM AND LIBERATION (PSL)
* Marxist-Leninist antiwar group that calls for “revolution” in the United States

The Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) was founded in 2004, following an organizational fissure within the Marxist-Leninist Workers World Party (WWP) that resulted in three WWP member branches -- based respectively in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C -- breaking away to form their own group. Openly allied with the International ANSWER Coalition (which is intimately tied to Ramsey Clark's International Action Center), PSL has also established branches in New York City (in Harlem), Baltimore, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, and West Chester, Pennsylvania.
A proponent of "revolutionary Marxism," PSL’s general raison d’etre is opposition to capitalism, which it defines as "the system in which all wealth and power is held by a tiny group of billionaires and their state," and the promotion of "socialism." The organization regards "U.S. capitalism" as the underlying cause of the war in Iraq (and all other wars) and regards "revolution" as the only viable alternative.

Though nominally an independent group, PSL mostly acts in concert with International ANSWER. A list of campaigns and events on PSL’s website provides a summary of demonstrations and protests organized by ANSWER. PSL is staffed largely by ANSWER activists, among whom is PSL’s “leader,” Brian Becker. Other PSL members include ANSWER activist Gloria La Riva, a former gubernatorial candidate in California and a longtime apologist for communist Cuba, as well as several ANSWER coordinators and organizers, among them Saul Kanowitz, Muna Coobtee, and Caneisha Mills.
PSL is a strong supporter of Fidel Castro's Cuban government and the socialist "Bolivarian Revolution" led by Hugo Chavez in Venezuela. It also holds a favorable view of Mao Zedong's Cultural Revolution in 1960s China.

It's not an anti-war movement. They are decidedly pro-Palestinian War and also call for class war in the West (with violent rhetoric).
If we are going to defund Israel, we must also end all funding of "rebuilding" Palestinian "infrastructure". Where's the call from the Left to do that?

I know that. Yet damn near everybody ignorantly (or stupidly) refers to these sorts of groups as being "anti-war", even most conservative commentators.
There is a bloodline from the Communist protests in America against going to war against Nazi Germany through the protests against the Vietname war (where they openly rallied support for the North Vietnamese Communists and waged a domestic guerilla war against the US military and US law enforcement agencies) through to the anti-Iraq/pro-Saddam movement.
Too many fellow travellers in their midst. The useful idiot housewives and college kids may not like being called Red Dupes but they’d be ignorant to not see the slogans and the Communist literature at the rallies.

The Socialists at "Move On" began with a campaign to see that Bill Clinton was "censured", not impeached, so the nation could "move on" ("censure and move on..."). They still have that name. They never "moved on".
Seems like they need to “march” on the responsible person, the Commander-and-Chief sitting in the WH?
The march is about ending the war in Iraq, possibly so a Russia-backed Iran can eventually seize control of it. Obama swore to the nation that he will 'end' the war (not win it).
