Is this post over a month late? Or just a day late?

Is it about H.R.1, The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009? Or is this about H.R.1105, The Omnibus Appropriations Act, 2009?

No offense, this is a very dubious "news" story with a date of 3-11-2009. No stimulus bill was on the agenda this Tuesday. The Senate did pass the Omnibus spending bill on Tuesday evening.

But further, there were no changes made between the House version and the Senate version of the Omnibus Spending bill. All amendments were defeated, and the Senate passed exactly what the House passed.

Mr. Steven Ertelt has some facts seriously wrong here. Either the House did pass this, and the Senate reaffirmed it, or this stuff was removed in the House and never added in the Senate.

At this point, it doesn't really matter. Obama signed the Omnibus spending bill today, and the ARRA back on February 17th.

The time to get this information out is before the bills pass. While amendments can still be made. This story is completely useless.
