Here is the latest email campaign effort by Terry McAuliffe who is running for Governor in Virginia. I didn't know Rush was running for Governor? Bob McDonnell should ignore this fool.
At a time when we desperately need to come together as a nation to confront this economic crisis, Rush Limbaugh says he wants Barack Obama to fail.
I don't believe we should ever allow ideology to stand in the way of what's best for our Commonwealth. That's why after Rush reiterated his remarks at the Conservative Political Action Conference last weekend, I called on Bob McDonnell to condemn them. Bob often talks about the need to work together to find solutions, but so far he's refused to say anything that might offend Rush Limbaugh.
If Bob McDonnell's rhetoric about bipartisanship is sincere, then he should prove it by condemning Rush's remarks. And we need your help to apply some public pressure in order to make it happen.

Bob ought to use the leverage at his disposal and help the raise the level of debate. He seems to think he's got some pull with national Republicans. Just last week he bragged to the Washington Post that, "'Everybody who cares about the Republican Party nationally or everybody who wants to run for president in 2012 will be in Virginia' this year."
I know that we can turn things around and create the jobs of the future. But doing so will require making a clean break with this kind of rhetoric.
When Rush started wishing that our President would fail, he stopped participating in an open debate about the right course of action. Instead, he was feeding a political culture that isn't about results-it's about who wins and who loses.
But this isn't the Super Bowl we're talking about. It's our economy. It's our families. It's our country. It's our future.

Thanks,

"Rush Limbaugh is this big and scary."
Virginia is a pretty blue state now...Does Terry really have a change at this???? I mean it has two Dem Senators now...How that states has changed.
If they want us to tell Bob McDonnell to condemn Rush, why is it that when you click the link provided, it takes you to Terry Hussein McAuliffe’s website?
The state hasn’t changed that much. What changed is that Obama spent a boatload of money in the state driving up the votes in NVA and our senate candidate though an honorable man didn’t have the campaign cash to fight Mark Warner let alone the media that kept repeating the lies. The only part of the state that has changed is the part that is closest to DC. The reason Terry McAuliffe will lose is that he doesn’t know how not to be a jerk. He comes across as one. Bob McDonnell is popular, well funded, and a great man and he a red dog conservative. The left hates him.
Cause they want you to give money to poor Terry.
Once again, The Punk opens his big fat mouth, providing enough grist for El Rushbo to last him for weeks.
The worst thing the Obamanistas could possibly do to Rush would be to ignore him completely.
But they can’t. His footprint is much too big for that.
Thanks for that information. I would be happy to tell Mr. McDonnell to stick up for the things Rush Limbaugh sticks up for, but I won't go to a McAwful site.
And aren't people tired of this childish "tell so and so to condemn so and so for such and such" game?
McAuliffe said that 0bama would “rule” N. America well. I heard that on a Fox interview some months back.
The word ‘rule’ was even used thereafter in a McCain/0bama debate & ff.
Terry had some investment in a communication company that ultimately folded (but Terry made out well).
Bet this contest ends quickly.
It’s only blue in Northern Virginia (from northeastern transplant government workers), and in Hampton Roads and Richmond, because of the heavy black populations there. The rest of the state is mostly red, as McCauliffe is about to find out.
Where do we click to tell Terry to F___O___
I just signed Terry McAuliffe’s petition telling Bob McDonnell that Rush Limbaugh is correct. 0bama’s failure to destroy the US economy and change the fabric of our society is a success for the US.
The neo-marxist policies of 0bama and tools such as McAuliffe have no place in a free and open society. As a veteran of the Cold War, the enemies of freedom are now a great internal threat than ever.
Thank you
Thank you for spreading the word!
They even thank me for my opinion.
VA is split and I still question many of the counties in Northern VA. ACORN was there hanging around for far too long without anyone keeping an eye on them.
Global Crossing, he got 30 million, the company went belly up.
VA is not a very blue state. The only part that is liberal is the northern area.
Sen. Webb only won by 10K votes. Many of the Democrats are very conservative.
He’ll end up winning because the Repubs don’t know what they’re doing. He has what - a size 17 neck?
“Global Crossing, he got 30 million, the company went belly up.”
Quick response.
(Figured there would be. Odd how THAT was lesser regarded than Hillary’s profitable foray into futures)
Wonder if will be brought up on Monday (on some obscure radio program)
From the looks of it, Virginia is a lost cause, but I have to wonder if the reported exodus of illegal immigrants from many states like Virginia will leave the left without a decent chunk of its voter base... because it’s pretty obvious that (1) they are voting, and (2) were a major target of the snob campaign’s GOTV campaign.
Probably right, but the stupid aliens, traitors and foreigners can't do it. Rush is their tar baby. And they are so dullwitted they don't even get it. Guess you have to be an American to understand.
