The highest levels of the Obama administration are infested with members of a shadowy, elitist cabal intent on installing a one-world government that subverts the will of the American people.
It sounds crazy, but thats what a group of very persistent conspiracy theorists insists, and they point to President Obamas nominee for Health and Human Services Secretary, Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, as the latest piece of evidence supporting their claims.
It turns out that Sebelius like top administration economists Timothy Geithner, Larry Summers and Paul Volcker, as well as leading Obama diplomats Richard Holbrooke and Dennis Ross is a Bilderberger. That is, she is someone who has participated in the annual invitation-only conference held by an elite international organization known as the Bilderberg group.
The group, which takes its name from the Dutch hotel where it held its first meeting in 1954, exists solely to bring together between 100 and 150 titans of politics, finance, military, industry, academia and media from North America and Western Europe once a year to discuss world affairs. It doesnt issue policy statements or resolutions, nor does it hold any events other than an annual meeting.
Past participants have included Margaret Thatcher, who attended the 1975 meeting at Turkeys Golden Dolphin Hotel, former media mogul Conrad Black, who has been to more than a dozen conferences, and Bill Clinton, Tony Blair, Condoleezza Rice, Donald Rumsfeld, Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, King Juan Carlos of Spain and top officials of BP, IBM, Barclays and the Bank of England.
It is precisely that exclusive roster of globally influential figures that has captured the interest of an international network of conspiracists, who for decades have viewed the Bilderberg conference as a devious corporate-globalist scheme.

It will take more action than I ever thought to get our country back! We are really needing to fight against the New World Order! Looks like plans for the New World Order run from FDR to Obama and they are almost completed.
The present Congress is working hard to get the following passed: HR1022, HR645, HR875, HR1833. Fight we must to save our Constitutional Republic!
It is my hope that the American People will rise up against our overlords. Non-violence is certainly preferred, but armed if we must.
Very interesting. Time to warm up the publicity and open up the Bilderbergers to public scrutiny. Give light to cockroaches.

Is it better to have a tin foil hat that is pointed on top or flat/rounded? I was thinking of going with an extra-large tin foil covered sombrero.

There’s nothing quite as much fun as a conspiracy theory, especially among the paranoid.
Seems to me that we’re actually hearing a lot less about this lately. Wonder why Politico suddenly decided it was an issue?
A foil-lined colander is best. Trust me on this.
I admit, though, that a sombrero is much cooler.
Must be true because they are talking about it.
LOL @ your tag!
Mark Sanford, SC governor, attended in 2008, I believe.
make sure you add the little propeller thingy up top to help deflect the incoming mind rays.
NO it was Mitt Romney.
There are several other links on these websites that will add more info for your consideraton:
David Rockefeller is a self-proclaimed communist in his memoirs, and heads up the Think Tank at CFR:
Jon has a lot of this info on his site in the internet articles dating back ten yrs:
“Theres nothing quite as much fun as a conspiracy theory, especially among the paranoid.”
So do you feel the global drive towards socialism is happening by accident, or is there a driving force behind it ?
They don't have to issue policy or orders, they just place people in the right positions at the right time.
Look, how can a governor of Kansas, and the likes of Larry Summers and Tim Geithner be such luminaries that they are members of an elite group that ONLY has up to 150 members world wide?
I can almost think of 150 people off the top of my head who would be better candidates for that before these nobodies.
Sounds like one of those who’s who mailers I get from time to time generously offering to let me belong to a very exclusive group of world renowned and brilliant people if I just send in my $100.
Until I hear more, I am not convinced that a group that meets once a year and has these guys as members is all that deadly. However, by all means, lets let the light shine!
(Maybe they can sick Giethner on us to tax cheat us all to death.)
I know, my day of excessive posting but have a look at this, doesn’t sound all that heinous:
You should know by now that wikipedia is a part of the Buildaburger, NWO, CFR conspiracy.
Yeah, but that wikipedia write up takes all the fun out of associating a “Dr. Evil” like character pulling the strings of this organization.
Certainly it's no accident, but it's not a secret conspiracy, either. When half the politicians stand up and call for universal health care, then where's the secret conspiracy? World socialism is driving forward openly and with head held high.
I'll tell you why people are so fond of conspiracy theories. World socialism is something too big to do anything about, so we focus on some small group that is easier to wrap our minds around. We think "If only we can get rid of these Bilderbergers, or the Trilateral Commission, or world Jewry, then everything will be alright." Paranoia leads to a Hitler or a Stalin, and we don't want to go down that road.
We need to borrow a page from the environmentalists. We should "think globally and act locally". A leftist representative, or mayor, or governor, is far more damaging than any secret cabal of globalists, and we can do something about that.
