This was a great effort in Cincinatti, and I like the ceremonial dumping of tea bags into the barrel.

You know thats a good question.
From second hand sources: What happened is that they came and focused on this one lady walking through the crowd yelling "Obama, Obama" and they followed her back and forth trying to get an interview for minutes. Each time she would say "Obama" the crowd around her would yell "Sucks!" and she just kept up. It actually took alot of courage. But, in these sort of situations, its smarter to take up a separate position and have your way.
Anyway, it was intense and the reporters by focusing on her first and seemingly exclusively increased the sense of expectation of how the News would ignore the event and focus on this one counter protester.
Folks started to get frustrated because that all they seemed interested in. One person surrounded by 5000 protesters. So they started chanting "Liberal Media" when the "one" lady conceded to speak to the WKRC reporter so this was on all of that interview. The reporter got frustrated with that and walked off in a snit.

Message isn’t getting to the DC elitists YET! 2010 needs to be a wakeup call for every politician up for re-election. Send them home; back to the real world!

Wouldnt it be nice if it made the national networks? Not right now and I will explain why. You want to really get back at the MSM? Simple. Ignore and shun them. Make them feel their irrelevancy. What happened yesterday at the tea party in Ohio was a good thing. Some MSM bozo showed up and found the one 0bamamessiah worshiper there to use to spin the situation. The crowd started chanting "Liberal Media" and the MSM bozo could not accomplish what he was sent to do which was to interview the 0bamaworshiper to get in the Corruptocrat talking points while shooting video to spin the story into the tea party being little more then a bunch of "redneck racist morons" having a klan rally. Now if you want to stop the movement go ahead and beg for MSM coverage. The Corruptocrats will make sure that they have some of their "community activists" show up to give the MSM flunkies something to tape while getting in their Corruptocrat talking points. They might even try to turn the thing violent so the MSM can spin it as "OMG! Next thing you know is that all these people are going to turn into Tim Mc Veigh!!!!11111111!!!!eleventy!!" I have said this before on this subject and will say it again. If one of the MSM bozos comes up to interview you politely tell them no and walk away. If you see them trying to interview some 0bamaworshiper counterprotesting start chanting "Liberal Media" or "Biased Media" so they can not use any soundbites. Trust me, these tea parties are starting to really worry the Corruptocrats and their RINO lapdogs without them being on the MSM. One of the things that is worrying them the most is that they are starting to grow in size and frequency despite their best efforts and the best efforts of the MSM.

What happened is that they came and focused on this one lady walking through the crowd yelling "Obama, Obama" and they followed her back and forth trying to get an interview for minutes. This is a diversionary tactic by the Obamanites, something similar happened at the FReeper March for Justice rally on the Mall in Washington, DC in October 1998. The FReeper group, from all over the U.S., similar in number to the Cincinnati Tea Party crowd were assembled at the east end of the reflecting pool, where the WWII Memorial is located today. Two bus loads of counter protesters were brought in from the Baltimore area, numbering maybe 70 or 80. They were mostly older black women, probably hastily recruited ... and were dropped off at the very eastern end of the Mall near the Capital Building. The next day (Sunday) the Washington Post ran their story on the rally in the local section ... and gave most of their coverage to the counter protesters. One very positive note to the rally media coverage ... C-Span covered the FReepers March for Justice rally exclusively and live from beginning to end.

"This is not a Democrat thing or a Republican thing," he said. "It's a government thing." True, but it's mostly a "Democrat thing." Except for Snowe, Spector, and other traitors, Republicans didn't vote for this crime.
Democrats did.

We had one jerk at the Sacramento tea party carrying a Ron Paul sign made us look like we were his supporters and sore losers. I'm sure he was a plant.

This DEFINITELY needs to be focused on in up-and-coming tea parties and protests. You will ALWAYS get opposition....or people infiltrating with a totally different ‘political agenda’(extremists). They need to be ‘weeded out’. Stay vigilant!

That happened to me once when I had the bullhorn at an anti-war protest/counter protest...local ABC, NBC and FOX were walking around I said "Hurray for the unbiased news media!" and got a cheer. Well, the NBC lady looked daggers at me even though I was completely deadpan.

Good explanation.
I’ll never again give an interview to a reporter, I learned my lesson years ago. Even speaking explicitly and slow they get it scrambled.
