Jack got hurt while working at my factory, so can no longer work "here".
I know! Let's charge Jack's new employer (or even Jack's previous-to-his-working-at-my-factory, employer) for the costs associated with Jack's treatment for injuries incurred while in my employ, saving my own insurance premium outlays.
What's not to like? What part of that would any dispassionate judge not agree with? Why, it's "justice" & righteousness itself in action.
We'll be toast.
I can't imagine what the vets are going to do. Just horrible. The deductibles and premiums will be completely out of reach for most of us.
My son has type 1 diabetes. I've put in random quotes for insurance premiums just to see what it will cost him when he gets older. The numbers are staggering. Most of them would match the mortgage of the average house.
And that's a 25 year old with diabetes. What are the 55 year olds going to do?
He's trying to push us into socialized medicine. That's the only thing I can imagine.
Impeach all of DC!!
I am so angry about this I ican hardly type.
I have a better idea.
When we rewrite the Constitution, we should have as one of the requirements for holding office “must have honorably completed at least one term of service in the US military.”
Yeah, but if you get run over by a truck while working in the motor pool and it’s not your fault, it should be covered (and is, right now) by the government.
Say it loud, say it PROUD:
O ne
B ig
A ss
M istake
A merica!
Show me some proof of that.
You cannot budge chit. It just leaves a big smear.
Hussein gives money to Hamas and illegals and wants to back stab our military.
Is becoming more apparent this nation has been infilterated to the highest levels of government office.
” Its almost as if they are afraid. Its all very eerie.”
In a way, I can’t blame them.
Anyone who dares question Obama will probably have their home address reported by Gibbs
and the pictures of their kids distributed by the lefty blogs.
There’s probably a niche waiting in DC for an entrepreneur
to start a company solely to provide security for Republicans and their families.
After the White House targets them.
Article 2, Section 2 of our organization's constitution states that The American Legion, "shall be absolutely nonpolitical and shall not be used for the dissemination of partisan principles nor for the promotion of the candidacy of any person seeking public office or preferment." In short, when we are in our Legion caps or working at our posts, we do not endorse candidates or parties. Our organization does not align itself with any political party or lobbying group.
Care to retract that statement?
What comes around doesn’t always go around and neither of these great American organizations endorsed this pinko.
