Well I have been trying to get through to all the Democrats who voted against Omnibus/Stimulus but its harder than you would think...

I bet! I have friends who voted for Obama and they don't like the spending either and think the Reps are just as bad. They just wanted change. Well they got change, just in another direction! I would not count on seeing them at any Tea Parties. Pity Pity all they listen to is the main stream media.

What we’ll have to be careful of is if Noot and others like him try to water down our goals. And we’ll have to make clear he ain’t runnin’ things - he’s a guest.

Like ice to tea, Newton Gingrich melts in the presence of one B. Clinton, said so himself in 1995.

He draws media (FNC, Hannity, etc) and has “gravitas” in the Beltway. Let’s use it!

Absolutely! Let him come, attract the media etc., but we ultimately (if not initially) drive the agenda and outcome.

This is not about the GOP or Newt, this is about We The People taking our government back and shrinking it down to the size it should be, where it fears us!

Newt’s endorsement could really make these events take off. Especially if he starts plugging them on Fox News.

Totally agree - is this the best we can do? Noot’s a goner, too much baggage and we need new blood. Please, Noot, go AWAY!

Newt may sponsor only in hopes of getting a larger return in donations. Newt’s last hurrah was the “Contract with America”. Which was broken by Newt and the Rebulican Party.

Don’t get me wrong, Newt is much more conservative than any democrap, either Bush, and 40% of the repub senate, but he is a moderate, and I don’t even know what that is.

Newt is no longer valid in my world.

“I don’t know whether I like this or not.

“On the good side, Gingrich’s gang getting involved means that the Tea Party Movement will get some professional PR and organizational help. On the bad side, Gingrich’s gang getting involved means that the Tea Party Movement will get some professional PR and organizational help.

“One of the most attractive thing to me about these protests is their ad hoc, grassroots nature. I don’t know if getting the pros from Gucci Gulch involved will help, or hinder, in the long run.

He’s a politician is there any other reason? I’m glad that he is getting involved it will bring more publicity. It is a two way street you see. :)

Outstanding! An excellent turn of events for so many reasons, not the least of which is the fact that Gingrich has more good ideas before lunch than most people do in their lifetimes.

It seems that none of these groups, including Glenn Beck, or Fox News, can hire people to run their equipment properly, so things like this don’t happen. It isn’t cheap to be fully prepared to handle heavy traffic, but it isn’t brain surgery either and it doesn’t have to be cost prohibitive if you hire the right people and make the right choices. Frankly, it’s inexcusable.
