From Wiki:

Gration grew up in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where his parents worked as missionaries; during the Congo Crisis in the early 1960s, his family was evacuated three times and became refugees.

In 1980, he worked for two years as an F-5 instructor in Kenya,

In 2006, he traveled to Africa on a five-nation, fifteen-day, fact-finding tour, accompanying Senator Barack Obama as an "African expert".[4] He later endorsed Obama's presidential campaign, citing that Obama had the "judgment, wisdom, courage, experience, and leadership capability that we desperately need"

Thought he was in the running for the NASA Admin job, how does one go from NASA to Sudan?

Maybe he sees the writing on the wall. Obama would love to kill NASA.

Gration speaks swahili and obama is, well, kenyan

so that makes them “close personal friends”

Grations sounds like an axxwipe- I remember reading that he's the one who sent letters to some Bush pentagon appointees firing them- rather than going through the liaison whose job it was to do so

Then when criticized, told the people fired they should consider themselves lucky since the obamites were firing first the most competent people

really

sounds like a perfect liberal democrat kind of military general

Remember during the campaign when Obama was going to visit wounded soldiers in a military hospital in Germany and then canceled. It was canceled when a campaign staffer had a hissy fit because the hospital staff would not allow campaign staffers to visit, only senatorial staff.

Three guesses who the drama queen campaign staffer was, and the first two don't count.....

Wonder if they’re gonna discuss strategy with Sudan on how to exterminate the rest of those pesky Christians.

Tanker from KC,

A trained eye and a good catch. Maybe he needs to do the "Top Gun" tooth brush head cleaning, before heading to Africa.

That's why I love pictures, as folks like you see stuff I never would notice. Thanks a bunch.

Enjoy the KC Plaza. What a fun area. I really like working in KC and wish I could get that gig going again.

Kansas City, assuming I picked up your handle correctly, is such a great city.

A group I belong to is having a Reunion there some time in the summer of 2010 and I can't wait. I plan to buy gallons of Grant's BBQ sauce, too.

We do have a few KCs handles here from KC. Mine comes form the USAF KC-135 and KC-10 air refueling Tankers.

TankerKC,

Bless you for your service. The flying "gas stations" make our defense work, offense, too, of course.

Thank you again.

Good eye; bad assumption.

The variation of of wearing two ribbons aligned to the person’s left when the lapel might overlap them is allowed.
