Glen should look into this:

EDITORIAL: Guns on a plane (Obama secretly ends program....)
The Washington Times ^ | March 17 2009 | Washington Times Editorial

Posted on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 9:03:27 AM by RecallMoran

After the September 11 attacks, commercial airline pilots were allowed to carry guns if they completed a federal-safety program. No longer would unarmed pilots be defenseless as remorseless hijackers seized control of aircraft and rammed them into buildings.

Now President Obama is quietly ending the federal firearms program, risking public safety on airlines in the name of an anti-gun ideology.

The Obama administration this past week diverted some $2 million from the pilot training program to hire more supervisory staff, who will engage in field inspections of pilots.

This looks like completely unnecessary harassment of the pilots. The 12,000 Federal Flight Deck Officers, the pilots who have been approved to carry guns, are reported to have the best behavior of any federal law enforcement agency. There are no cases where any of them has improperly brandished or used a gun. There are just a few cases where officers have improperly used their IDs.

Fewer than one percent of the officers have any administrative actions brought against them and, we are told, virtually all of those cases “are trumped up.”

I really love his show now that he is on Fox. I wish he would replace O’Reilly, can’t stand that guy.

“the U. S. Constitution, which he felt was inspired by God and the reason behind America’s success as a nation.”

This is in my opinion the whole truth and nothing but the truth. The probability of finding a group of men in one place and time with common goals like the Founding Fathers of this country is so large it could have only happened by an act of God. A “perfect storm” to lead the people of earth to freedon by example.

We, Christian’s and others, have forgotten the intent of our Constitution and I think God may be ignoring us until we again become “Strict Constructionist.” Too many try to use the Constitution for their own purposes instead of remembering it’s original intent.

It comes on at 5 PM here and I don’t get home until after 6 PM at the earliest, but I recorded and watched his show for the first time last night, I was impressed. It is now set to be recorded every day. I can watch it instead of being subjected to Greta’s crap at 9:00 PM.

I like Beck’s ideas, but I like Beck because he is sarcastic and funny, without being over-the-top

The amazing part about Beck is that he’s self-educated on all these issues...he learns it the old fashioned way, he reads.

I noticed when O’Reilly was on Beck’s show the other day, he mentioned his Harvard education, LOL, as if that’s some sort of qualification.

Beck’s self-deprecating humor and his zany presentations let him “get away” with saying things that other news hosts wouldn’t dare. His latest excoriation of Frank (complete with his Frank impersonation...which is a hoot) is one example of him telling the truth and making it clear so that people understand.

His over reliance on sarcasm and drama lessens him a bit in my book but overall he’s spot on. Too bad he’s a Mormon. Some rollers are unable to appreciate him because of it.

I’ve been listening to Beck on the radio for about 6 years now. I’ve seen the show once or twice. It looks like a great show, however I’ve turned off ALL TV news. I just don’t trust network TV. I can still listen to his radio program.

Glen’s style does the radio justice. Who doesn’t love moron trivia?

Beck is a breath of fresh air to the movement because he's so funny. Because he can deliver the limited government message with humor (his parodies are actually just as witty as Rush's and they're much more frequent) he can bring people into the fold -- especially younger people.

I once recall a radio show of his one day, about four/five years back, when a left-leaning caller accused Beck of being to influential and possible causing confusion through Beck's use of sarcasm/humor. The caller assumed that too many (presumably conservative) people were not smart enough to separate the sarcasm from reality and would just do the things that Beck requested, blindly, like lemming over a cliff. Beck countered [I'm paraphrasing here] "You mean to tell me that if I were to tell my listeners that eating dog turds was both nutritious and delicious, the at least some of my audience would go out and follow their pet dogs out to the back yard and give 'em a try?" The caller's take was that some people in his audience really would do just that. Eating dog turds became part of his show's theme for the remainder of the week, including a mock advertisement for dog feces.

Some of the funniest radio I've ever heard was from Beck. I don't think he's as much of a libertarian-leaner as he's like to claim but he's a definite asset to the conservative/limited-government cause.

My husband, (a programmer), is convinced that the 9/11 project website crash was due to a denial of service attack. I’m not so sure.

Glen Beck understands the old Clinton gang wants to revive the “Vast right wing conspiracy” boogie man. If Beck had been around during the time Hitler was consoledating power, Hitler never would have been able to murder 6 million...

They're trying to mock Beck - and take him down - but Beck knows what he's talking about.

Two more books to add to my READ IT CONGRESS agenda.
The Constitution and The Federalist Papers MUST be read by all CongressCritters so that they know what it is they’re supposed to be upholding and defending.

Conservatives are looking for a leader who is NOT afraid of the truth. And would sacrifice all that he has for the love of country. Glenn Beck is far from being a politician(he doesn’t lie). But we need someone with principles and God knows he has those and a pair to go with them.
