D.C. HIV/AIDS Rate Higher Than West Africa

According to a new report issued by Washington, D.C., officials, the HIV rate in the nation's capital is the highest in the country.
Nearly 3 percent of the city's residents are living with HIV/AIDS, a rate higher than in West Africa.
Cornelius Baker, formerly of Washington's renowned Whitman-Walker clinic, and Patricia Nalls, of The Women's Collective, discuss the epidemic.

Rather than Angola, we need Benedict XVI to come to DC and urge abstinence and instruct on the Catholic Catechism that homosexual conduct is an “intrinsically disordered evil.”
I spent 20 years as a USMC infantry office. My last WestPac cruise, of the 880 enlisted men in my battalion, 40-43 came down with STD's. Of those 40-43, 35 were black.
I can't tell you why they culturally won't. But, I know they don't. And, it's not because they're Catholic.

Seems to me that some people have confused their digestive tract with the reproductive tract.
As a side note, have you noticed that while a heterosexual person may define themselves by their family tree, their education, their native culture, what they do for their living, who their children are, or what church they belong too; a Homosexual defines himself by who they have sex with?

I would expect it to be the same, I’m surprised.
Standing on deck of the U.S.S. Coral Sea as we crossed under the Golden Gate Bridge I remember the words of an old salt who stated “today we leave our families to go visit our loved ones.” It's something after all these years I've never forgotten.
Clearly, I don't think it's a "gay" disease, at least not anymore. But is should be pointed out that according to a piece in the San Francisco Chronicle, dated 3/21/06...
"Since 2001, the city's official estimate has been that each year 1,084 residents become infected with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. The new estimate is 976 -- 87 percent of them gay men.
So, it's clearly still a problem in the gay community despite over 20 years of ubiquitous HIV awareness campaigns in schools, tv, print and even in movies.
As for your second part, I have no idea if it's higher amongst black homosexuals compared to other ethnic minorities or white gays.
Actually, we need several angels to come to D.C. to seek out rightous people and warn them to leave before the Lord rains fire and brimstone down on the city.
