Thank you for setting the record straight. As a Richmond area resident, I have attended the re-enactment of this speach several times. Patrick Henry is my own personal hero.

I had the opportunity to see the re-enactment one time. Coincidentally I happened to be in Richmond on a day they were performing the re-enactment and I made a point to attend.

It proved to be a very moving moment for me. It didn’t really strike home until I realized I was standing on the same exact wooden floor planks that Patrick Henry and the other Virginia Delegates had stood on that day in March so very long ago. For some reason that made quite an impact on me.
