President Barack Obama said he believes the global financial system remains at risk of implosion with the failure of Citigroup or AIG, touching off “an even more destructive recession and potentially depression.”
His remarks came in a “60 Minutes” interview in which he was pressed by an incredulous Steve Kroft for laughing and chuckling several times while discussing the perilous state of the world’s economy.
“You're sitting here. And you're— you are laughing. You are laughing about some of these problems. Are people going to look at this and say, "I mean, he's sitting there just making jokes about money—” How do you deal with— I mean: explain. . .” Kroft asks at one point.
“Are you punch drunk?” Kroft says.
“No, no. There's gotta be a little gallows humor to get you through the day,” Obama says, with a laugh.

I tried to imagine GWB or even Clinton laughing about a bad economy and folks losing their jobs. Couldn’t.
Clinton at least had enough political sense to bite his lip...and of course, GWB is easily 20 times the man that Obama is - and I’m not even a big GWB fan!

My initial reaction to the transcript: virtually all of the dashes (representing pauses, stammers and/or verbal miscues) are found in sections spoken by the punch-drunk leader.
Perhaps the Teleprompter of the United States (TOTUS) took the day off and left Barry to fend for himself?
First he was abandoned by his father, and then he was abandoned at the age of 10 by his mother, who had more important things to do with her life.
Then he was given a Stalinist mentor, who was also a known child molester. (That doesn’t speak terribly well for his grandfather, either.)
think it is very likely that Frank Marshal Davis molested Obama’s mother earlier, and then molested Obama. We don’t know that, although there are a couple of hints in that direction—but just take a close look at Obama’s poem “Pop,” which is clearly about one of his youthful evenings with Frank Marshall Davis.
You could feel sorry for the abusive way Obama was brought up, but the White House is not the right place for a severely troubled person to work out his mental problems.
Obama does not know his elbow from his @$$. sitting there chuckling like 5 yr old dumas... someone with fiber and strength he is not. He’s a punk from Chicago.

If Hillary made a principled stand..let’s say, resigning out of principle, she’d could very well become the de facto leader of the Democrat party and set up well for 2010. HELL, anyone who steps up will have a head start. This is a freaking trainwreck.
