According to multiple sources, Senator Arlen Specter will vote against cloture and passage on Employee Free Choice Act legislation…
Perhaps someone has shown him his poll numbers recently...
RINO, RINO - What did we expect?
I’ll believe it when I see it. Arlen’s a traitor.
After much pressure, he will cave to the next pressure as a result of caving to the first pressure.
One vote now isn’t going to save his sorry butt. He is a RINO through to the bone. If he wants ot run it had better be on the democrats ticket.
Victory for America, a loss for communist labor unions.
Still, I want Specter out.

Voting against cloture means voting against Card Check. This is a good thing.
He’s still a Rino though.
They’ve got a long line of useless Rino’s not up for re-election who will take the bullet in his place.

Good. Now both sides will hate him. A traitor has no friends.
You think he will hold to his word? Or will he be like the last Republican Senators getting their bowl of gruel for selling their souls.
translation, the R leadership have someone else who is going to allow this to pass.
I speculate that he traded votes with some other member of the Republican Main Street Partnership. As long as there are 60 in favor, it moves forward. Likely his vote isn't essential.
Of course he will keep his word... BUT... the powers that be found some other RINO who was going to vote against cloture to switch and will now vote yes. This is the little game they play.
