In a mainstream media with a mad crush on the messiah in the White House, none can come close to matching the adoration of The New York Times.
Reporting on the president’s Tuesday evening address in today’s paper, America’s newspaper of wretched gushed, “Americans saw not the fiery and inspirational speaker who riveted the nation in his address to Congress last month, or the conversational president who warmly engaged Americans in talk shows across the country, or even the jaunty, jokey president who showed up on Jay Leno,” but Barack the “professor in chief, offering familiar arguments in long paragraphs” (emphasis added to highlight the worshipful tone).
Said feeble attempt at journalism is in the service of the administration’s efforts to sell its great leap toward socialism to the American people, as well as to counter the observation that when he’s separated from his teleprompter, the president can barely get out a coherent thought.

Sure, O'Reilly that boring dumdum crappy performance was a contrived and managed performance from a brilliant man...played perfectly!
I could barely watch that press conference without gagging. Obama ducked every hard question or just flat out lied. He evidently believes that he can say whatever preposterous absurdity he wants and the public will just lap it up. When the reporter from Ebony served up that big fat puffball about “homeless children sleeping under bridges”, Obama got to parade his fake empathy and humility for a long stretch. Then, when he was done, off he goes loping back into the West Wing with that George Jefferson strut he puts on.
God help us.
Dspite the best efforts of the New York Times and other MSM officers of the Ministry of Propaganda, the Obamessiah’s popularity with mainstream America is headed south faster than a duck in winter. Prediction: the Democrats will get thoroughly trashed in 2010, after which congress - seeing the handwriting on the wall and attempting to salvage something for 2012 - will treat their Dear Leader as the embarrassment he is. Nevertheless, in 2012 Dear Leader will be voted out of office, after only one term, as the most unpopular president in American history.
