In our youth, some of us may have been awarded honor roll car stickers that gave us great pride. Others might have marched in a St. Patricks Day parade proudly displaying our Irish heritage. One bioethicist, Jacob Appel, wants to take prideful behavior to a new level with his call for an Abortion Pride Movement.
Appel, an Ivy League-educated lawyer and medical historian, recently wrote that the moment is ripemore than ripefor an Abortion Pride Movement. He believes such a movement is necessary because women should feel comfortable expressing public pride in their brave and wise choices. Along with glorifying abortion, Appel has in the past contemplated a market for the fetal organs of abortion victims. With Appel having such radical beliefs, it is truly laughable that he is a bioethicist.
[W]omen who have chosen to terminate their pregnancies are rarely encouraged to take pride in their decisions. That is unfortunate. This kind of irrational thought and behavior is nothing new to the pro-choice movement. Planned Parenthood, the largest provider of abortions in this country, stated that abortion wasnt shameful and even had the audacity to make shirts proudly announcing I had an abortion. Planned Parenthood also distributed Choice on Earth Christmas cards mocking the Slaughter of the Innocents told in the Gospel of Matthew. Locally, the NARAL Pro-Choice group of Maryland ironically wants to celebrate this years Mothers Day with a brunch commemorating reproductive freedom.
For unplanned pregnancies, Appel seems to think that abortion is a better choice than allowing the child to be born and grow up. He believes this because, as he says, there is enough suffering in this world. This kind of thinking probably led to the recent dumping of a newborn babys body in a College Park lake. Adoption can easily alleviate the so-called suffering as there are plenty of willing parents that would love to adopt children.
I dream of the day when women are not afraid to walk the streets with pins reading, I had an abortion and it was the right decision. I can understand a woman advocating for the right to choose an abortion, but what I cannot understand is the sickening way some people and groups engage in celebrations and prideful displays over abortion. This is the sad and sick state of affairs today over the abortion issue.
I wish I was more surprised.
Proud of abortion.
Evil.
Just plain evil.
He sounds a little light in the loafers
Perfect quote! Thank you.
If you are so inclined, pray that Jacob Appel, ‘bioethicist’ does not die suddenly, for his fate is so obviously bound currently to the demons in Hell.
Yes, but denying that this mentality exists is surely wrong.
that which is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.—Luke 16:15
The ‘proud of abortion’ psychotics are just doing what they like. eff you man! /sarcasm off
Amen.
How much more pride is he looking for?
Does he expect NEA funded artists to display their aborted babies in a glass jars?
Oh... that’s right. They already do that.
Appalling. In a time of horrible headlines, this is a stand out. The Devil truly walks on earth, in the form of evil humans. The libtards are going completely insane. They used to hold back a little on letting the world know how evil they are. Not anymore.....it’s all out in the open.
Seared consciences....hard hearts....depraved minds. They take pride in their sin - and want post-abortive women to do the same.
Dr Mengele, Kvorkian and their evil ilk are very proud and grateful for your donation to HELL while you find false solace among those that celebrate and facilitated your murders!!!
See tagline.
How about ‘proud to be an aborter of leftists day.’
No doubt...but in actuality I hope they do this...it will expose those who don’t really care about the right to “choose”, but rather will show their blood lust of the extermination of human life...
The contrasts could not be any more clear after something like that.
