LITTLETON, Colo. - Republicans better stop whining and start thinking of new electoral strategies to return to prominence, the new head of the Republican National Committee said Friday.
"I’m tired of seeing the same old, same old," RNC Chairman Michael Steele told about 750 Republicans at a party dinner in suburban Denver. "I’m tired of hearing the same old arguments. I’m tired of hearing the complaining."

We’re tired of the wining and hearing the same old arguments. We’re tired of hearing the complaining of a do nothing GOP chairman.
That said, Mr. Steel needs to get his message out better to the Republican rank-and-file, as well as to the reachable nontraditional voters that share Republican values. He also needs to get Congressional Republicans to show a unified front of core Republican values each and every time they are in front of the media or their constituents.
The best defense against the Democrats and their media cronies is to stay on a winning conservative message.

Love him or hate him (for sitting on the couch with her whack-job-ness), the only person speaking that sounds anything like a Conservative today in America that has any real experience with hand to hand combat with the left is Newt Gingrich.
And, he has boiled our next victory down to five rather salient points or “the five threats that America faces,”
1) Islamic Terrorists and rogue dictatorships armed with nuclear or biological weapons.
2) The removal of God from American public life.
3) The loss of patriotism and sense of America’s history.
4) The US’s decline in economic supremacy (primarily because our kids are not taking the hard sciences and math and getting solid educations).
5) The budget burden on Social Security and Medicare (just made worse by this obomination).
If you haven’t read his book, “Winning the Future,” it is a good read — I think he should be the RNC Chair — I believe he could narrow our focus and stop wandering all over the damn place — that would be a nice start. Steele should just pick three major conservative points and then just hammer and hammer and hammer them into the hearts and minds of Americans. IMO...
