Newt is a great strategist but he needs to work behind the scenes and forget about running for president. He flushed any chances he ever had down the crapper when he had his bimbo eruption.

He needs to keep hammering on those issues, formulating strategy and advising all who will listen. And he needs to also announce he isn't interested in running for office. Then, he would earn the respect his good work has merited.

Can’t lose something you’ve never had. The GOP began as the party that believed in expanding the power of the Fed, which was greatly expanded into our economic activity under Theodore Roosevelt. Anti-trust, anti-monopoly legislation promoted by TR took us away from the laisse fare capitalist system of our nation’s founding.

The GOP became the party of the pot on the burner with less heat, but it is a mistake to think the party is ready to turn the heat off & start throwing ice cubes in to the pot to reverse the trend of sending more and more power to the Fed.

To most in the GOP, responsible means better oversight over the local, when the local *should* be the most accountable to voters of all government. I can & have talked to those elected to local office, know some of them & their families. I’ve help work out solutions to local problems.

The Fed reps should be accountable to the local, instead of the other way around, but try telling that to any DC hotshot that tells himself that he was elected to office by more voters than any of the local guys.

I have no idea what he is talking about. I watched the other video where he says that his being caught like a deer in headlights over the Rush question on CNN was really all planned. There is something wrong with him, seriously wrong. None of these statements are anything close to what he should be saying.

Did I mention I cant stand Hannity today yet,?? His judge of character is a disaster. steele is just another example.

Michael Steele you’re an affirmative Action choice who can’t cut it. Stop embarrassing us and resign

Michael Steele it’s time for you to go. You’re an affirmative action failure who never should have been elected to run the RNC and you scare me. There is no evidence to suggest you have any grasp of your mission as RNC Chairman. With the life of our nation at stake, America has no time for you to learn. Nothing about you gives me hope or confidence we can turn our Party around.

I wanted to reserve my decision and give you the benefit of any doubt, yet frankly Mr. Steele your election as the first Black RNC Chair smelled fishy from the beginning.

After Obama’s election it seemed a bit too politically correct and looked like panicky affirmative action designed to attract people who will NEVER vote Republican anyway.

My suspicions about you proved well founded.

You just don’t get it.

Your remarks about Rush Limbaugh being an entertainer who is “incendiary” and at times “ugly” prove you don’t understand grassroots conservatism. I can’t overlook this shortcoming.

You are the de jure head of the Republican Party, but because of the vacuum your lack of leadership has produced, Rush Limbaugh IS the de facto leader of the Party.

I’m sick of a leaderless rudderless RNC giving us Bob Michel type leadership. I want a Chairman who will stand up and fight for conservatism and be able to distinguish friends from enemies.

Because of you I will revert to “Whitemailing” the RNC. I’ll send your envelops back with a note giving you a piece of my mind, but nothing else. I won’t contribute another penny to the RNC until you are gone Mr. Steele.

I speak only for myself, but I hope others will join me in this insistence that you leave office before we make any further contributions.

And one more thing Mr. Steele please can this “hip hop” crap. The “hip hop” culture will never vote for us and appealing to it only shows how little you understand about how to bring our Party back. It’s a waste of our time and scarce money and those people are laughing at you behind your back. It’s another embarrassment you have brought to us

There is something wrong with him, seriously wrong.

Something wrong, eh? Like the fact that he's a RINO?

RE :”Something wrong, eh? Like the fact that he's a RINO?

RINO like McCain in the sense that he loves attacking his own party publicly More comfortable than attacking Obama.

His talk makes no sense, he has no real constructive points ,in fact he needs to be fired.
