The man who created two phenomenally successful "We The People" YouTube videos urging Americans to stand up against Congress and reclaim their republic now or perhaps lose it forever reportedly has been summoned to the White House by President Obama to discuss the subject matter of the short films.
Bob Basso, who posts videos under the name funbobbasso on YouTube, has created videos in which he portrays Thomas Paine, author of the "Common Sense" pamphlet that made the case for independence during the American Revolution.
Basso, whose website offers his services as a motivational speaker, uses the YouTube presentations to condemn "non-representing representatives" and warns, "Only when they feel the almighty wrath of 'We The People' marching in the streets from California to New York shouting 'We're mad as hell and we want our country back' will they get the message they work for you."

Oh, and this is not complicated, and the technology has been there for years.
Each state turns in their votes. Very simple. Not complicated. One vote per man. Majority rules.
It's a really simple, American concept.
In addition, if what you say is true, implying the electoral college will save America from favoring highly populated, socialistic, liberal big cities etc.......How is it we ended up with Obama?
Oh, and that was very flattering!
But, if you oppose it, then you'll probably be happy to know that some states have found a way around it with national popular vote bills. So, you may get your wish soon enough. Time for me to go right now. I'll check in again sometime this weekend.
If what you say is true, implying the electoral college will save America from favoring highly populated, socialistic, liberal big cities etc.......How is it we ended up with Obama?
The GOP ticket ran a terrible campaign, and other factors.
But, I didn't say the electoral college saves us from socialism. It simply gives more states a say in the election. Otherwise, only a few states would dictate every election for the entire country. (For the record, I live in the most densely populated state in the country, and it would benefit from a popular vote, but I still oppose it.)
The GOP ticket ran a terrible campaign, and other factors.
No, the GOP became corrupt, favored open borders, big government, and big government spending, spending the U.S. into a financial abyss. Simply put, they had no leadership, and most people that were once Republicans, just had a belly full of their lies, liberal pandering and bull sh*t.
That guy is great. I’d never heard of him before. Thanks for posting.
Yeah, that's one point I'm going to have to disagree with him on. The electoral college is a brilliant idea and the only thing keeping the dems honest right now. It didn't turn out great for us this year, but on balance, it's usually an asset to the party that derives much of it's support from the exurbs and the rural parts of the country.
Without the Electoral College, the Federalism that still exist today would immediately vanish.
We don’t live in other countries, and I don’t care about whether they have slave labor or not when I’m trying to fight against it in this country. Zerocorps is not the military, but zero’s answer to our (mostly conservative) military. He’s fomenting a civil war here because when his “corps” gets really oppressive, we’re going to rebel.
Another little thought occurred to me, that zero wants a nation of white slaves to pay America back for its black slavery.
IMO, zero’s corps is not an option for any conservative young person when they have so many others like the Military, the National Guard, and the Coast Guard as you mentioned in your earlier post.
Remember, this will be mandatory, so whether they want to or not, every single one of our children will be forced into one of these indoctrination camps. Oh, sure. They left “mandatory” out of the bill, but zero’s statements have expiry dates (as Jim Quinn says), and one little XO later, and it’s slavery.
Do you really approve of that?
I’m pretty sure Bob will not be turned. He has principles, after all. I hope he raises hell will Obama and then gets back and makes a video about that pinhead’s tactics.
He lost me there, too.
Unmentioned in the article is the fact that Bob Basso, the star of the YouTube tapes, is a professional actor with quite a number of film and television credits. This could be why the WH is more alarmed than it otherwise might be. You can bet that they’re going to give him the Joe the Plumber treatment or worse if he doesn’t knuckle under to them.
Well said!
WTF are you talking about?
This has absolutely nothing to do with this video or anything I said. Get a damn grip.
Ya got what's left of the party groupies, right here doing that.
Could you please elaborate on that, if it's OK to do so?
I wish he’d summons me so that I could say “NO WAY”. I wouldn’t want to be within 10 miles of that commie.
