In the past FreeRepublic has come under fire for racists comments posted supposed by it's members. I'm sickened by the awful comments on youtube about the baloon boy. It takes only a minute reading youtube to seen dozens of people posting comments about how the family deserved this or making jokes about it. I see lots of "prayers for this family" comments here on FreeRepublic. It's interesting which site is considered mainstream and and which is considered fringe by the media.
