Yep, my own theory is the blow out media coverage of one tends to push a new would-be perpetrator over the edge on the “rationality” of going ahead with it themselves.
I’d like to see what the motive of this one was.
It always seems like there is a jump in shootings just before the usual suspects begin a major anti-gun push.
I expect to see congress critters introduce new bills to ban “assault weapons” this week or next.

It seems so. On another note I notice that the local news where I live seems to be just one video after another of convenience store clerks being killed. Unarmed and cooperating with the robber(s) but they still get shot point blank anyway. These videos show there are good cameras in shops now but I see that bad guys don't even bother with masks anymore. They don't even try to hide their faces. And they do this even if there are customers in the store. Their boldness is building up so much.
These shootings always happen in March or April too.
It seems so. Were I conspiracy-minded, I’d think a provocateur was trying to assault our Second Amendment rights by generating outrage...
