And we have to chip in $6 Billion now for Fiat to buy Chrysler?????
Where in the constitution is there authority to tax us to give money to the Italians?
Where are the Republican leaders?
McConnell deserves some heat for not coming out more loudly; front and center against these policies. He’s the Denny Hastert of the Senate.
You have zero credibility, McConnell.
Socialism isn’t “OK” when it’s W and Paulson and BAD” when it’s Bambi and Geithner.
It’s ALWAYS bad, dumbass. Which part of that don’t you get?
If I heard even one of the republican fools stand up and say “Boy was I dumb for voting for the first (or any) bailout! Forgive me! I’ve learned my lesson!” I might be able to get behind them now.
But they (somehow) seem to think it was OK the first time but not now. THat’s nothing but hypocrisy and gaming the electorate.
May they all rot. The sooner the better.
Now if they applied the same principles to the states, maybe they can scrap all these union contracts and not have to take bailout money.
These are, officially, loans. So, officially, we are supposed to get our money back...
