Well, all I know is that for me, on MY OWN taxes, a correction of $7K over three years would be a trivial amount. I pay many, many times more than that every year. For me it would amount to a rounding error. I'm sure that Sibelius makes a lot more than me, so it is even more trivial to her. I understand that she's a liberal rat b@$tard. That is not in dispute. :-)

The election in NY tonight is, as usual, 50/50. Either all of these elections are rigged to go into overtime where the lefty courts flip the race or this country is hopelessly split 50/50.

Your assumption that, because she is a politician, she must be rich I think matches up pretty well with America’s broken political process.
Oh, and when do the amount of unpaid taxes transcend from “honest mistake” to criminal? To avoid confusion in the future, why don’t we just set a standard for how much income tax may be withheld from the government without criminal charges being brought? It would only apply, of course, to the political elite.
Has she resigned as Governor of Kansas yet? This could be one way to get her out of politics. Force her out of the governor’s job and don’t let her have HHS.
She is as bad if not worse than Tom Daschle. Make this a big issue.

And the Republican Party official response is to accuse the Democrat appointees with tax problems of being derelict of their civic duty and their mandated requirement to fund the government, a place where Democrats in particular should be held to a higher standard. (sarc)
