QVC will have a Jacqueline Kennedy Jewelry Collection show tonight, 6-8pm ET.

Aww, sorry you missed it. The rep said he'd be back on QVC "July 4th weekend"... I'll try to remember and remind you, if you're interested.

He gives an interesting presentation, as he has photos of Jackie wearing each original (obviously) piece of jewelry, where she wore it (often overseas), who gave it to her, etc.

There are very poignant stories behind her collection of crosses (QVC sells the reproductions). One story: JFK gave her an emerald-encrusted cross after her first child was stillborn... When she was pregnant with Caroline, Jackie never took off the cross, and refused to take it off when she gave birth via Caesarian section.

The rep then describes the gems, intricate work and original cost of each piece, then QVC offers the reproductions for sale.

I'm sorry to have missed that. I was doing chores, gearing up for the 3-hour ending of ER, my favorite tv show, from 8 to 11. I watched it as often as possible. Even though ER was set in Chicago for its 15-year run, thankfully the producers refrained from pumping the Obamanomenon. They tended to treat storylines about soldiers, the Iraq war, and war protesters even-handedly. I sure will miss it.

Was the finale 2 or 3 hours? I read a little about it this morning.. thought they said it was 2 hours.

ER was my favorite show for years until they killed off Anthony Edwards, and started replacing the original cast. I wish I had seen the finale, though. Maybe I can catch it somewhere, or wait for the rerun.

Glad to hear they didn't politicize the show... kind of surprising for anything connected to NBC.

Blacks struggled for centuries for political equality in this country, and she shows up in something that looks like a cast-off that Missus gave to her oppressed cleaning lady. All that purple print schmatta needs is the apron.

The coat is hideous but at least MO is standing more ladylike.

MO needs a slip to help smooth her dress over her hips and legs.

The finale episode was 2 hours, preceded by a 1-hour retrospective, which included plenty of scenes of Anthony Edwards, as well as his candid commentary. I think you may be able to see the episode online. The ending was so perfect.

Condalezza Rice wore some incredible things (she had some phenomenal shoes and boots!), but she always looked very tasteful

She was by far my favorite when it came to style. I cannot remember an outfit she has worn over the past 8 years I didn't like. Just a fabulous sense of style, and no one ever commented on it.

Thanks, Albion. Hey, I just found the final episodes (including the retrospective) online at Hulu.com! My husband and I will definitely watch it when we get the chance.

Awesome! I will probably watch again over the weekend. The show had a lot of impact for us and I tried never to miss it (we have doctors in the family).

Somebody finally got her to listen about how she stands and poses for pictures.
That is a nice “5th position” right there.
Much better.

Cool! Do / did they think "ER" was realistic?

Much better.

I wish she would lay off all the volume in the skirts. It creates an unbalanced siloutte, especially when she’s sleeveless, imho.

The MSM will love it, tulle and all.

She could were something from the "I Love Lucy" Parisian collection and they'd swoon.
