As voting machines are re-canvassed, Assembly Minority Leader Jim Tedisco has picked up 37 votes, evaporating Democrat Scott Murphy’s lead in the race to replace Kirsten Gillibrand in Congress, according to county election officials who are conducting a recanvass.
Tedisco now has 77,236; Murphy has 77,224.
Tedisco trailed by 25 votes yesterday after a recanvass in Columbia County. Elections workers in Rensselaer, Dutchess, Columbia and Otsego counties looked over their tallies today. Other counties will do so in the coming days.
Murphy led on election night by 59 votes.
Larry Bugbee, one of the commissioners of the Rensselaer County Board of Elections said that during a recanvass of machines today, Tedisco picked up 15 votes. Bugbee said machines in the towns of Hoosick, Schaghticoke and Brunswick will be recanvassed tomorrow.
David Gamache, a commissioner in Dutchess County said Tedisco gained 22 votes. All the machines are impounded.
Otsego’s recanvass resulted in no changes. Columbia County will report tomorrow morning.
Paper ballots are impounded until an April 6 court hearing.
Don’t worry—ACORN will “find” some ballots and put the ‘Rat in.
If you can’t tell, I’ve lost most if not all faith in the fairness of the electoral process of late, just in case someone out there thought I was trolling.
i understand but with 10’000 absentee ballots still out there, the odds towards the republican look good.
You are not alone. ANY state that is BLUE cheats, plain and simple. The time is coming when words and lawsuits won’t be enough to deal with these people. It is coming very fast.
If not?
I will have no respect left for the process.
Well the military absentees will take care to make sure the canidate in question gets in.
Well the military absentees will have the final say.
“I will have no respect left for the process. “
... And I will have no respect process for the left.
SEE my math, on the newest NY 20 thread.
Not to cast a negative on this but, is this the normal number of absentee ballots? Just wondering because there was an attempt to register a friend of mine in Fla even though they knew he lived in PA for the 2008 election. He holds properties in both states.
So, if they are pulling that trick, they can submit absentee ballots for the snowbirds.
It shouldn’t even be close. All Michael Steele’s fault. While he was bashing Limbaugh on Hughley, the RATs were mobilizing money and volunteers to try and win the seat. Only at the last minute when the polls weakened did the retard Steele get motivated. He is a disgrace.
