The union officials said executives from the Times and the Globe made the demands on Thursday morning in a meeting with leaders of the newspaper's 13 unions, the Globe reported. How does it feel, union leaders, to have the demands being made of YOU for once?! Not so fun this way eh?
Go ahead, paper execs, close down the paper, and do us a double favor.

How can ANY single business survive with each of THIRTEEN unions sucking the blood out of the body till nothing is left to suck but a dessicated carcass?
This is one vampire movie I can't wait to see unfold. Preparing huge vats of popcorn as we speak, er.......type.

Dan Shaughnessy was whining about this on 96.9 this morning. I changed the station.

No one but the elite liberals in the Boston Area will miss the Globe, when its doors are closed and all of the mediots are forever gone.

95% or maybe more of Follywood’s liberals from so called stars to so called directors and producers could just disappear without causing any problems in America.

Reckon Jack Welch thanks God every day he didn’t buy this albatross a couple of years ago? The rumor was he had offered Pinch $ 1/2 billion or thereabouts and Pinch was insulted.

Jack made at least one good move, then.
Pinch seems incapable of making a logical or good financial move.
