Mass. mother charged with stabbing 2-year-old girl

GARDNER, Mass. - A woman who believes she was being stalked by a cult has been charged with stabbing her 2-year-old daughter 100 times with scissors, her lawyer and police have said, and can be heard yelling "Die! Die!" on a 911 call.

Susan Johnson's screams can be heard on the 911 call made by a security guard who helped to subdue her in a laundry room at a Gardner apartment building Wednesday night.

Johnson, 38, also used an electrical cord from a dryer to try and strangle the toddler, police said, but the security guard and two residents separated mother and child just before police arrived.

Thanks. I thought I was the only one who saw the real tragedy. Some seem so intent on the “mother” that they fail tp see the reality of the child.

My fear is that someday she will get near that child again. Some wacko judge will say she is all better & should have her child back. It is sickening what happens to children. I would like to see her locked away in jail with a cellmate that hates child abusers. I am sick of the excuse somebody was off their meds.

THANK YOU! I have an uncle who goes off his meds often. He is manic depressive/bipolar. When he goes off his meds, he threatens to kill my grandparents. But as soon as he is on his meds they welcome him back into their home. A ticking time-bomb if you ask me. The only words I have spoken to him in the past 10 years were "If you come anywhere near my house or my family I'll offer you a permanent solution to your problems."

Evil people who kill their kids plan it ahead, do it in secret and try to cover it up. They don’t do it in a public area and make a bunch of noise that will attract attention. Only truly crazy people do that.

I am very sorry for your problems. I too have a family member who wouldn’t take his meds. My husband’s brother was an accident waiting to happen & had guns. Nobody not even the police would listen to us when we told them he was going to shoot someone. My father in law said he had no bullets so the guns didn’t matter. About five years ago as soon as it turned Xmas Eve we got a call. My brother in law shot himself in the head & nearly shot Pop. Somehow he lived although he is blind. Now Pop has to take care of him & he is in his 70’s. I don’t know what will happen to my brother in law once Pop is gone & I honestly don’t care. Prayers for your family.
