better get enough 380 ammo..that flavor is scarce in west virginia.

Last weekend in cabelas I was talking to a fellow seeking 380 ammo and had been to seven stores in 2 states to no avail.
Just no 380 to be had for some reason.

get it when you see it, or buy a case at www.ammoman.com

.380 is the same diameter as 9mm parabellum.

One line produces both. Currently those lines are running 24/7 making 9mm nato for law enforcement and civies.

.380 just isnt being made

Popular caliber apparently. In fact, seems ALL ammo, not just pistol ammo is getting harder and harder to find.

I've alerted daughters and SIL's to the situation so I'm hoping they'll get stocked up sooner rather than later.

300 bucks drive out? Geez! Looks to be German made, or is that the dealer stamped on the right rear?

Looks to be a reblued E G that has seen a hard life.

Regardless, its a good price for the king of Maks.

I think the bulgarians rival the E G models, but you just cant find them

Mine has P W Arms Redmond WA stamped on it. I just discovered from the makarov.com site it was built in 1987. Evidently it sat around in a warehouse for a while because I bought it new around 1999 or thereabouts.

A couple of websites I checked yesterday had 9mm ammo only on backorder. Was it like this when Clinton was elected?

The story I’ve heard is that the Winchester plant in East Alton, IL (near St. Louis) is running three shifts, seven days a week.

Another plant reports running the same schedule, but is said to be allocating half their production to a “special project”. I have no further info on that one.

Don't know, CYTD, since I only had a "squirrel-stock" Marlin .22 rifle at that time. Plus, I was pretty much "asleep" on Liberty issues, sad to say, to my own shame. But I'm wide awake now!!
