the mental barriers that restrict such actions in 'normal' human beings were finally overcome and the hour was upon him to make the drive across town...somewhere then, for reasons unknown to him, the hand of the Lord intervened and caused him to question his physical ability to carry out his deeds...the rage passed and the child and his momma were protected from harm...
today he has since turned around and embraced the Lord, and spends much time and effort recounting the depths of his depraved thoughts and actions of his past, its an opportunity to give the full Glory of life to God the Father, the strenth and actions of His Holy Spirit working in the heart, and the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus in 'paying the freight' for the grace in his life today...
Jeremiah said that “the human heart is wicked above all things, for who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9). Unfortunately, we all have it in us to do things like this. Blind rage removes logic, and the desire to get revenge only hightens that rage. What a damned sad story... more so that he couldn’t see PAST his current situation.
