The White House mail office has confirmed it received a "deluge" of as many as 2.25 million red envelopes symbolizing the empty promise of lives snuffed out in abortion in a massive campaign that was larger than most White House mailing movements in the last 35 years.
White House mail worker "Steve" has handled letters for 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. for more than three decades. Every single package and letter destined for the White House goes through his office.
Asked if he has seen a flood of red envelopes bound for the White House, Steve chuckled.
"Uh, yes," he said emphatically. "Believe me, they made it here." Steve said while Obama has been occupied in Europe, his administration has noticed millions of red envelopes on behalf of aborted children.
"Quite frankly, here was definitely a deluge of mail coming through," he laughed. "I had to handle them all."
"I've been here 35 years, so I've seen presidents come and go," Steve told WND. "This campaign ranks up there with the big ones."

Well, I'm so glad you somehow see some humor in this tragedy Steve...
Staples carries red envelopes.
In the invitation section.
2.25m envelops made it to the mail room... and promptly got tossed.
the total impact was:
steve: “we got more red envelops”
presidents secretary: “ok, thx”
...
0bama to secretary: “anything new today?”
secretary: “we got some more envelops”
0bama: “that’s nice”
if you really want to make an impact, do something they cannot easily ignore.
specify a day, during the week, and have everyone rent a red car and drive to washington dc and just drive around all day, honking their horns once, on the hour, from 9am to 5pm.
people could also have 9 red helium balloons with them, one per gestation month, and release one per hour.
that would be noticed... as the area would be completely grid locked with red cars with a ‘puff’ of red balloons every hour, announced by the honking horns
So true. People’s hearts are in the right place, for sure, but they’re making a mistake in imagining that the worthless creatures in Washington care what they think - no matter HOW many of them think it.

Obama Says A Baby Is A Punishment
Obama: If they make a mistake, I dont want them punished with a baby.
I used one from an extra Christmas card
My God that’s high impact.
It made me even more furious and gave me a sick stomach at the same time.
I wonder how many tea bags they got.
bump
Thank you.
Office Depot - special order. I ordered mine thru work - 200 for $20.
Who knows what impact it may have on the heartless adults. I know that now I wouldn't be able to look at a red envelope without thinking of a baby who wasn't allowed to breathe and live.
It'd be nice if we could get a photograph of the sea of red envelopes. It must be an awesome sight.
It wasn't merely a red envelope, it had a specific message written on it.
Granted though, they probably stopped reading the message after the first million or so, and just coutned them.
I know it had a message. Like I said, I got the e-mail.

and could care less.
‘bammy: Silly Christians, what a useless waste of effort.
I just got a card that happened to have a red envelope, gave the card to my husband, sent the envelope. You can also make them out of a piece of paper/ folded on the diagonal and taped, like we did in Elementary School.
