Who is spreading fear, hatred and lies in Pittsburgh shooter story?

An insidious new meme is being propagated following the Pittsburgh slayings--that rhetoric from conservatives, gun rights activists, the "right wing"-- is responsible for Richard Poplawski's alleged fear that Obama was going to take away guns. The first thing we need acknowledge is this is but one more case of the media rushing to judgment before the facts are in. There's a whole lotta speculation going on.
As we've noted before, Obama's own words taken from the official White House website reveal his goal of banning an entire class of semiautomatic firearms. His attorney general has revived the call. And he's based a large part of his rationale on a demonstrable lie.
We're not allowed to point that out? And reporting on their own words is now verboten?
An important component of the meme is that conservative/libertarian speech is hate speech. In the Orwellian Newspeak off the political left, the words of the framers of the Constitution are treasonous.
It's called projection. Shall we explore the sentiments coming from those who make no secret that they hate gun owners and believe in government monopoly of power? What do popular lefties have to say?
From the Daily Kos:
I really have a hard time with these nut jobs that own guns with the excuse that it's such an important right, the only one they seem to want to protect with vigor, as their being taken by the politicians they support. Idiot's. And what type of typical response does this elicit?
The right is sociopathically incapable of that type of reflection or honesty.
They will continue to blame it all on Obama for being a "socialist".
It's time to see some of these m...s facing the business end of a SWAT team. From the aptly-named Crooks and Liars:
He feared an Obama gun grab? Gee, I wonder where he could have heard that.
...Ironically, this is exactly the kind of incident that law-enforcement intelligence-gathering is supposed to help prevent -- intelligence like the Missouri State Patrol report so hysterically attacked by these same paranoid right-wingers. I tried to explain at the time that these kinds of extremists are in fact a very real danger to people in law enforcement, but all anyone on the right wanted to talk about was Ron Paul bumper stickers. Well, there you go. A typical reaction from a true believer?
Hang these shootings around the necks of the fomenters. If we can see Ruandan radio folks get convicted on genocide charges, why not our very own cuddly Amurkin sleazeballs. There's plenty more, but no point in belaboring it. You get the idea.
Still, there is one more point that needs to be made: Emerging evidence is connecting Poplawski to the white supremacist/neo-Nazi movement. Naturally, the left is trying to connect that to Constitutionalists, and paint us as "homegrown terrorists," as crooks and liars will.
Understand that the term "Nazi" comes from Nationalsozialistische, that is, "National Socialist".
Just what is it left-wingers espouse, again?

Projection is right. I have found that a lot of anti-freedom types fear their own inability to control themselves.

"Projection is right. I have found that a lot of anti-freedom types fear their own inability to control themselves. " That's pretty much the bottom line. They think all humans need a leash because they have no foundation for discipline. They are demoralized.

The drive by media strikes again.
Now there is a problem in search of a solution.

WOW. More left wing "journos" reveling in illogical lies and smears. Sadly, I suspect many victims of government education, i.e., those inclined to vote for
B.O., buy into these serial absurdities from the Olde Media.

A lot of that fear, I fear, is projected towards those they would like to control, but cannot. This does not include controlling themselves, because their wants and wishes are far more important than yours and mine.

It's time to see some of these m...s facing the business end of a SWAT team. This is what they want for law-abiding, conservative gun owners.
Leftists spew crap like this, and WE are somehow paranoid?

A tragedy took place Saturday in a Pittsburgh neighborhood. We're all feeling the pain while looking for explanations and pointing fingers of blame.
Yesterday I overheard a conversation between a receptionist and a patient. The receptionist taking her cue from the Dummys retorted that the blame clearly lies with the NRA and their labeling Mr. Obama a gun grabber. The patient a former marine agreed with her and together they began bashing the Republicans, talk radio, George Bush, etc. I left the room.
Today's Post Gazette runs an article blaming the 911 operator for not informing the officers that the killer had weapons.
As tragic as this mistake was why is nobody calling into question the killer's mother? Is it normal to call 911 because your son's dog pisses on the carpet? Is it the city's responsibility to remove your son from the house because you want him out? Was he threatening her? I don't recall reading this?
How was this man raised?
Somebody compare and contrast his upbringing to those of the dead policemen.
What type of character was she instilling in her son the past 22 years?
Somebody please compare and contrast the lives and upbringing of the fallen officers to the crazed killer's. What were they taught about responsibility, duty, respect, discipline? Not at school or at the academy but at home?
If somebody considered doing this, my strong hunch is they would detail a stark contrast.
As we look more to government to solve our problems and protect us from ourselves and our neighbors we could once again discover that the solution is right at home

The report quoted Mrs. Poplawski as saying her son, after being kicked out of the Marine Corps for assaulting his drill sergeant during basic training, had been “stockpiling guns and ammunition, buying and selling the weapons online, because he believed that as a result of the economic collapse, the police were no longer able to protect society.”
Mr. Poplawski was taken into custody after a siege of several hours. He faces three counts of homicide and numerous other charges.
More details in tomorrow’s Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

On another forum I visit, they have a US politics section and they are blaming the "hate filled rhetoric" of right-wing conservative radio hosts for this. They'd have absolutely no problem with restricting the free speech of Limbaugh, Hannity, et al.
Maybe I've missed it but I have not seen the statists take a swipe at the economic mess Obama is leading us into which may have contributed to that Vietnamese shooter's getting laid off and taking it out on immigrants who are trying to become citizens legally here. No, haven't seen any leftist tears for legal immigrants, but on that same board they sure do want the illegals to have every freakin' taxpayer subsidized benefit imaginable. Hypocrits.
