Thank you. After a check, I found out you are right.

What are Gun Laws in Arizona?

I don't think you can go into a gun shop and buy what you want without registering, though.

“The retreat is on of four U.S. branches of the Kkottongnae Brothers and Sisters of Jesus, a Catholic organization dedicated to serving the poor and homeless. It was founded in the city of Cheongju, South Korea, by Father Oh Woong Jin in 1976...

Kkottongnae means “flower village,” according to the organization's Web site.”

(Side note):Reports are still sketchy right now, most likely because of the language barrier. The local police have brought in Korean speaking officers from other areas to help with the investigation. According to the Channel 5 (Los Angeles based) news report this morning. The gunman was taken down “physically” by a couple who were in a separate building from the original shootings when the gunman entered the building and attempted to attack them.

Yep. He worked for some local company there, was laid off, and getting unemployment but even complained about the amount he was getting.

“because the NOLA shooting was over a month ago,,,

Why throw it back in the news now ?”

Because there was a court hearing where new details emerged. It’s news.

Is it my imagination or do a lot of these shooting sprees lately involve people for whom English is not their first language?

Must be your imagination. Only white angl-saxon males do these horrific things.

“Gunman, victim in Temecula shooting identified”

10:00 PM PDT on Wednesday, April 8, 2009
By GENE GHIOTTO and SANDRA STOKLEY
The Press-Enterprise

SNIPPET: “The gunman who opened fire at a religious camp near Temecula was identified this morning as a 69-year-old resident of the retreat.

John Chong was among five people injured in the shooting and fight late Tuesday night at the Kkottongnae Retreat Camp, sheriff’s officials said.

Authorities say 58-year-old Chuneui Yun was shot in the head and killed in the attack. Her husband Jongpil Yun, also 58, is among those hospitalized.

All of the injured are expected to survive, officials said.

Chong and the others are volunteers at the facility. Chong had lived there for about a year.”

True Dat,,,But,,,

It seems to me that (IIRC) most of these stories just fall

down the memory hole,,,(I follow this close in my state),,,

(IIRC) After Columbine there were many school shootings,,,

IMHO : These seem to be “monkey see~monkey do” shootings,,,

They seem to taper off,,,

We'll see,,,

Prayers Up...

Owners of registered guns should start reporting them stolen before the gov. comes to take them.

I've driven past that place many times and noticed the sign in Korean at the entrance, but never did know what it was. My wife says she used to camp there many years ago, when it was a campground.
