You can say that about ANY sickness you feel like validating.
In a country that has it's fair share of them they don't feel they have to have "special" laws pasted to keep people from making quiet jokes about them.
Other than that they are treated pretty much the same as anyone else WITHOUT Government intervention.

I am a woman, and I don’t want to use the same public restroom that men are using. And I don’t want any male (or female) legislator making that decision for me. It’s as simple as that.
