I was hoping that the article would look at the REAL dark side of Dubai - the slave trades, particularly of blonde-haired American and European women.

Of course, our Politicans for Sale (Congress) don’t care as long as their buddies pay them well (and all get to use the women on trips to the Middle East before some sick Sheik tortures and slits their throats).

Obama the Sissy (rather than Frederick the Great) doesn’t care. Blacks and Muslims have great disdain for women, particularly white women.

It's slavery. And yeah, decent people condemn it. Decent people of all cultures condemn slavery. And nasty people think it OK - nasty people of all cultures. Is that what you were trying to say?

No, I’m saying your comparing apples and oranges. You’re doing the same thing the ‘blame America first’ crowd does. No matter what the problem is anywhere in the world, it’s worse in America because Americans are so unfair and our system of government is so inherently bad.

Very creepy and well-written story.

I remember reading about the beach sewage problem. How recently did that story break, a year or so ago?

There are a number of ads for some UAE airline in my general neighborhood and on public transit. I get the impression that UAE has been marketing itself very aggressively lately.
