Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister said yesterday the “dangerous policies” of Israel’s new right-wing government required firm international action, particularly from the United States, to “prompt Israel” to reverse course.
Prince Saud al Faisal also said the seven-year-old Arab peace plan, so far mostly ignored by Israel, only remained relevant if Israel responded.

Seven years, peace plans, and Israel mentioned in the same sentence has a great deal of significance.
Things are shaping up for that "peace agreement."
The saudi prince made a point of saying the plan had gone un-implemented for seven years -

That plus the new demand that Israel disarm by surrendering thier nukes for the sake of peace

Dutch Foreign Minister Maxime Verhagen has told MPs he opposes threatening Israel with economic sanctions if it hinders progress towards a peace settlement with the Palestinians.
The opposition Green Left party had called on the Christian Democrat foreign minister to argue for the threat of European Union sanctions at his next meeting with EU colleagues.

Anyone who knows anything about Saudi Arabia and their virulent form of Wahhabi Islam would know that the Saudis are more of a threat to peace than the Israelis are.
The Saudis are, in short, full of it.
I suspect that if Israel is ‘required’ to get rid of its nukes, it will deliver them directly to Mecca by the quickest possible method.
If recent actions are any indication, our so-called president doesn't agree.

That’s about Psalm 83 and how Israel basically creates its own conditions for peace and destroys the enemies immediately surrounding it. I haven’t read the book but I’ve heard about it. And this author and those talking about it, make a *definite distinction* between the Psalm 83 war and the Gog/Magog War (thus being *two separate events*).
Now, this is something that might come about before the Rapture takes place.
Also, the Gog and Magog war, some think could happen before the Rapture and other prophecy teachers think that this is actually the very end, just before Jesus comes back, that this Gog/Magog war happens.
There seems to be some uncertainty among some Bible prophecy teachers in regards to this God/Magog war.
But, this Isralestine book does seem to be intriguing, in that Israel will completely obliterate its immediate enemies around it and create the conditions for peace since they have totally and utterly destroyed their enemies. Psalm 83 is the basis for the book...
