STATE OF THE UNION (CNN) : Gen. Ray Odierno, the top U.S. commander in Iraq; Iraqi national security adviser Mouwaffak al-Rubaie; Dana Perino, former White House press secretary; Interior Secretary Ken Salazar.
1. A strong military. Weakening the military leaves us prey to terrorist attacks, foreign policy blunders, and perhaps even a military action by China or Russia. Lives would be lost, and our nation weakened for a very long time. We should push on all efforts to defund the military and undermine military effectiveness through interference by legalisms. 2. Support for allies and keeping our word. We cannot allow Obama to abrograte treaties, dodge commitments previous administrations have made, or drastically reduce support for countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, and Israel. If he gets away with that, no country will ever believe our word. 3. Interference in the census and elections. The democrats only hold power because they run large cities like robber barons, and completely control the election process, switching states from Republican to Democrat by inflated and fraudulent vote numbers in the cities. (Chicago controls Illinois, even though down state is mostly Republican.) We must, at every opportunity, resist the White House efforts to control the census and thus reapportionment, and we must have an effective counter to ACORN and their thuggish tactics. If we fail in this, we will always be the minority, because the democrats will have control of voting for the forseeable future.

Either that or we could add them to the Treasury Department to help out there.

We had an anti amnesty House of Reps. in 2005. Too bad the voters blew it in 2006.
I just hope the dog does not suffer the same fate Buddy had with the Clinton’s. I also had to laugh at the dog’s rainbow outfit being shown on FNC earlier.
Just heard this and the comment wasn’t to Rove, but to the Obama people who keep bringing up Bush as the cause of problems. Brit said Obama needs to take responsibility for what’s going on now.

This is the John Kerry position. A little hijacking, a little terror activity, something we should accept and move on.
Sarkozsy gave the word to take the ship when the pirates refused to negotiate and threatened to blow up the boat.
Our TOTUS is not going to give the word to take any action if it means a single terrorist is killed. He would rather allow our Captain to die than disappoint the muslim world.
If you recall, there was a serious recall effort in Arizona that was ended on 9/11.
It would be very surprising if he is not re-elected tho. And I suspect that Dodd will also be re-elected.

I have been speculating such a plan was afoot. I just KNEW our awesome SEALS were at the ready, probably on the ships in the area, just waiting for the opportune moment to stealthily slip into the water and do their magic to overtake the lifeboat and take care of our business.
If what he’s insinuating is that the dastardly and appeasing, lily-livered CIC is disallowing that, against military advice, it would be despicable beyond words.
But why do I expect that of this fake?
And what would it have harmed things if he just acknowledged this hijacking, and publicly said that his and the country’s prayers were with Capt. Phillips and his family for his safe return, and we’re doing everything possible to secure his release.
But no, not a peep.
God bless and protect Capt. Phillips, comfort his family. I fear only His mercy will save this American citizen.
