Sorry, but it is extremely rare that you will find someone calling themselves “Independent” and running for office that has more than a couple of conservative positions on the issues. Most of the time, they are as left-wing as most Democrats that are running for the same office.
Usually just a PR stunt.
Of course, if this “Indy” had even a couple Conservative positions, that’s a couple more than the RINOs currently in the running (nevermind the Austrian Socialist).
