US protestors brew 'tea party' tax revolt [media attempts to link GOP, Tea Parties]

NEW YORK (AFP) — Critics of President Barack Obama's handling of the economy are planning nationwide "tea parties" Wednesday -- and not for the sake of polite conversation.

Coast-to-coast demonstrations against Obama's big-spending economic stimulus package are promised for the day that is also the deadline for filing federal income tax returns.

Whether Republicans -- in disarray since losing the presidential election last year -- can deliver is open to question.

Pro-Republican organizers say they are plugging into widespread popular anger at Democrat-led Washington.

What they forget is that many Democrats will also be in the crowds. They need to keep politics out of it and see the Tea Partys for what they are.

I decided to go to a tea party after seeing how much the media and other leftists are worried about tea parties.
Thank you, libs, for helping me decide to go. You are obviously threatened by the thought of millions of normal people finally giving a darn about what’s going on in this country and showing their concern.

I just saw a promo for Hardball and Priss Matthews was asking if the tea parties could backfire for the GOP, the leftist media is so predictable, they can no longer ingore it so they try and spin it as a negative

As long as they can connect it to right-wing anything, they’ve an excuse not to cover it or cover it negatively. They’re just getting things set up for a media drive by Wednesday night and Thursday.

FTA: ""The tea parties don't represent a spontaneous outpouring of public sentiment. They're AstroTurf (fake grass roots) events, manufactured by the usual suspects," liberal economist and Nobel Prize winner Paul Krugman said Monday.

ROFL... we'll see tomorrow won't we, Mr. Krugman!!

The Repulsicans had their chance. I’ve left them until they COMPLETELY ELIMINATE all the rinos, grow a pair, and really, really try to find a philosophy to which they can stick.

I’ll be there with a certain someone who has a sign saying Dem who never wanted this change
and I know someone else who will have a sign saying this Dem is fed of change already

if more signs are made saying Democrat then the media will have a tough time trying to paint it for one party

also do not give anyone your name or anything about you and I know I will not be signing anything as ACORN, huff post, move on etc are looking to infiltrate us and try to make us look bad plus gather info on us or cause trouble

do not forget your cameras and video cams either

“...” liberal economist and Nobel Prize winner Paul Krugman said Monday....”

Why do we mention Nobel Prize any more. If it’s not in the sciences, it’s a political joke. And, given Krugman’s output, economics is most definitely not a science.

oh, GOOD idea. “NOT THE CHANGE THIS DEM VOTED FOR!” Love it. Sort of a counter-infiltration. Just love it.

This is so not a “Go-GOP, woo hoo” rally. It may be “Go Constitution, woo hoo”, but definitely not about party.

Funny....libs are goinging wacko on Craigslist trying to put out misleading information...Tea Party(ies) cancelled, relocated, cancelled for fear of threats by skinhead attendees...geesh.

I was wondering myself if these ACORN/lefty nutjobs would try and show up early at various sites and try and pass themselves off as "officials", and misdirect participants to other areas as they arrive.

How can we best avert this type of misdirection?

CA....

The only good thing about this crap article propaganda from AFP is when I searched for that 'Right Klik.com' mentioned (which I've never heard of) is they have a link to a cool music listening website .. Mixpod.com

I found scores of Eric Clapton's songs. Some are with BB King and Jeff Beck. Its all FREE, legal and I'm listening right now to 'Rock me baby' a duet with BB King.

So thanks AFP, keep up the good writing /s

I’m not sure except to double check your official, local tea party website. They’ve already attacked the main official site once and will probably continue to try it again. I expect we will be getting attacked everywhere tea parties are listed and then again, during the protests. Don’t sign anything without reading it. Some say carry a sign with an arrow that says ACORN or something, then stand by them. The most important thing to remember is that our government is on THEIR side.
