As early as 2001 I was commenting on the correlation between W's economic speeches and huge drops in the stock market. The FReeper excuse at the time was that we didn't need a stock market.

If people keep defending W's horrible presidency, the GOP isn't going to change and they will keep losing elections, because the current GOP leadership could care less as they get their share of the loot, much as it was between Hoover and Reagan.

His anger is coming through loud and clear, isn’t it? Not what one wants in a CIC. He sounds imbalanced.
_______________
I usually don't watch but I saw a few minutes of it this time. I agree, he did seem angry and a a little loony. I'm not sure he can handle the criticism he is going to get, like ALL presidents get. I think he is in way over his head and he knows it. MO is loving it. She is playing movie star.

If people keep defending W's horrible presidency,...

They will never promote the destruction of freedom via Obamanomics.

One thing to keep in mind that I have heard many people say...............

The banking industry and Wall Street aren’t happy with zer0. They are both large and powerful. They don’t like him telling them what to do. If they turn on him, he’s history. A one term president.

Yep, you think he will just have us ‘seniors’ lined up and shot since we are too expensive?

"Yes, they do spin for Obama, but they didn’t have to do anything to tank the economy under W."

4.0% unemployment, stock market over 15,000, increased federal revenue via the tax cuts... you call that tanking the economy?

It was all fake and unsustainable (government spending bubble, housing bubble, commodities bubble). How much of it was left before W left office?

It wasn't all fake. There's more to the economy than a bunch of bums getting free homes. And the Bush/Republican deficit only averaged about $200 billion/yr including both wars.

An NYSE floor trader interviewed on CNBC said the market began to tank as soon as 0 started speaking began his usual trashing of Wall Street. CNBC Steve Liesman, a 0 apoligist, tried to shut him down but he kept coming back and told Liesman he could prove it in the charts.

0, STFU - the market doesn’t need you!

The pathetic aspect of this, is that the point of the parable is SPIRITUAL, not MATERIAL.

THE ROCK IS JESUS, not an economic strategy.

Yeah I went looking for the parable and that’s the way I read it too.

This guy’s gonna be playing with marbles and prattling on about strawberry ice cream within three years.

It's queer how many of us see the same end for 0bama.

He will have a "medical" problem that will require his resignation, because the job is too big for him.

He's given pretty much the SAME speech on THREE different occasions over the past 10 days.

It's probably teleprompter practice and we haven't been told yet.
