Apparently finding reasons to be sympathetic toward Somali pirates, the Reverend Al Sharpton in all seriousness appears to believe they should actually be called Somalia's "voluntary Coast Guard".

In 1991, the government of Somalia [...] collapsed. There is also lead and heavy metals such as cadmium and mercury - you name it.” Much of it can be traced back to European hospitals and factories, who seem to be passing it on to the Italian mafia to “dispose” of cheaply. When I asked Ould-Abdallah what European governments were doing about it, he said with a sigh: “Nothing. There has been no cleanup, no compensation and no prevention.”

Rush should hire the Reverend Al as a gag writer. “Voluntary Coast Guard” is funnier than “pirate community organizers” or however he was referring to them. I think Al has a natural ear for comedy . . . he just doesn’t mean to.
I never did read what became of the pirate corpses; if we didn’t feed them to the fish, perhaps we could wrap them in Mo’ flags and deliver them to fat Al so he could see that they were disposed of in whatever way is politically correct in the eyes of scummy race pimps like him.
