SAN ANTONIO -- They're calling them ‘Tea Party’ protests and they're going on all across the country. But San Antonio’s is expected to be one of the biggest and thousands of people attended. It’s all to send a message they hope will be heard. Those here want their message to be loud and clear and they expressed it in many ways.

Although the event Website asked that no one bring signs there were plenty of them.

Concerning "no signs allowed":

Entirely made up by the writer of this article.

I went to the webpage of the organizers, and what it said about signs was to have no swearing, etc on them.

The leftist just HAVE to make it seem like people that go to these are breaking the rules.

They are so angry that Americans are pro-America!

The bitterness and self righteousness is astounding.

Somewhere between 4,000 and 5,000 in downtown Houston, with 15 smaller parties throughout the Houston area. Some of the outlying ones had 2,000 people in attendance.

Had good news coverage from major network media outlets including helicopter aerial views.

"Obviously that isn’t Alamo California"

There is only one "THE Alamo"

"Obama won Bexar County and San Antonio last November"

Wouldn't have if only Americans voted...

It was humor.

Alamo, California, a haven for the upper class, also has a place called “Alamo Plaza,” but it is just a short little street that leads to nowhere.

Saw some lame report that only 4000 to 5000 were at the ALAMO. I say BULL! We had 1400+ at small town Tyler, Texas and compared it looked like San Antonio was 25,000 or more.

Go for round 2 July 4th!

I know. I can’t believe she launched into an attack about what do taxes have to do with it? I think that’s what she said. Talk about bitter and angry. I thought she was going to assualt him. Didn’t seem to care if he had a toddler in his arms either.

I just saw a report this morning that the estimate for Houston was closer to 8,000 - 10,000. We had sign-in sheets and someone stayed up last night counting those. Plus they ran out of sign-in sheets so the low-end count was 8,000 with many more who had nothing to sign in on.

Whatever report that was with 4,000 at the ALAMO is nothing but BULL. I saw a video with Beck at the Alamo. There had to have been at least 20,000 or more there. They were packed in going down the street headed toward the Riverwalk.

1,400 for Tyler is a good amount. I heard some spot in Dallas had 5,000.

Let’s all do it again on 4th of July.

No threat to secutity as Tea Parties really didn’t happen, just ask oBOWma and the MSM.

Saw on Drudge that some twit rep from IL (Jan Schakowsky) said we were dispicable.

I would grant her immediate citizenship, just on the basis of her sign. ;)
