McCain says no to marijuana [but yes to guest workers, a "comprehensive solution" to immigration]
KOLD CBS 13 Tucson, Ariz. ^ | 2009-04-17 | Bud Foster

Senator John McCain is wearing a small band aid on his forehead these days from a biopsy taken recently. He says the doctors told him it's fine.

He also says a recent physical has pronounced him fit for the campaign ahead.

After just finishing and losing a run for the White House, he'll now run a fifth time for his U-S Senate seat.

I pray that lord McCain returns to at least one of his many homes and retires away off into the sunset. He is just about as vacant in the mind as the prompter-less Bama.

AZ residents may as well elect a dhimmicrat and get a true professional fool to represent them instead of the mere idiotic fool that McKennedy is.

“Senator John McCain is wearing a small band aid on his forehead these days from a biopsy taken recently”.

...I thought that was from a frontal lobotomy. He’s due for one.

So why doesn't anybody find out why Bawney Fwank had a band aid on his knuckle?
Congressman defends bonus bill

Some have advocated relaxing the laws on marijuana use and possession as a potential or partial solution to border violence. But that idea is not on McCain's agenda.
"Most experts I respect say that marijuana is a gateway drug and it's harmful. And I think that experiment has been carried out in some European cities without success. So I would oppose it," he says.

Caveat alert! (a modifying or cautionary detail to be considered when evaluating, interpreting, or doing something)

I almost spewed coffee. Thanks for the choking fit though.

This moron’s home state has the city with the second highest kidnapping rate to Mexico City because of the illegals and their smuggling of both drugs and people. He’s obviously too stupid to chew his own food. He needs to shut the hell up and get out of the way so that these problems can both be brought to an end. Go way, Juan, and take your large boobed brainless daughter with you.

he'll now run a fifth time for his U-S Senate seat.

Hopefully, the good folks in his state will send him home. He needs to just be at home, feet propped up on the Barcalounger and sipping some iced tea, waiting for the downfall of America.

The dweeb who posts about 40 anti-anyone with the last name-McCain thread per day used a dishonest, misleading title for this thread - one of his favorite tricks.

Here's what McCain actually said:

“Our proposal is, after the job is advertised and no American takes it, someone can come and work temporarily and go back to the country they came from,” he proposes.

What's wrong with that?

I can see a problem with that. I imagine that the reason "no American would take it" is because the job has ridiculously low pay & the employer KNOWS most Americans won't take the job for that pay & the employer KNOWS that he can get an illegal to take it.

I’m sorry but when people start talking about “guest workers” I start thinking “illegal aliens” (and I’m not talking about UFOs... LOL...)...

See what Oklahoma does about these illegal aliens. This is what all states should do. When Oklahoma did this, they *all left the state*. It’s amazing, you can’t find them here now!!

That is one aspect to consider.

Another aspect is that an employer's motivation in hiring is not to provide jobs. It is to make a profit. The hired help does just that. They help to produce at a higher level then the employer can produce at the current level without said help.

.The employer makes a percent profit off the help that is greater than the costs of the employee, otherwise they end up like GM.

The reason for increased wages is twofold. The good employees are valuable. Also, training costs money, hence increased wage and perks are offered as incentive to stay, after proving worth.

The second reason is costs forced onto the employer by the govt, which are disguized as increased pay, but the employee never sees them, as they are confiscated prior to reciept, they are just on paper, like ss.

So, low wages is not necessarily a reflection of the employer's devious plotting to target jobs for illegals, knowing that locals will not take them. The job is worth what the employer can get people to work it for.

The unemployemnt figures (labor force available) have a great impact on starting wages, notwithstanding government regs ie minimum wage controls.
