OK, here’s the yearly totals on legal fees for CY2008.
Candidates campaign committees have to file monthly reports to the FEC disclosing their disbursements, plus addition reports for PRE-GENERAL (ELECTION), POST-GENERAL (ELECTION), AND YEAR END (COMPILED JANUARY 2009 FOR 2008)
Bauer, via Perkins/Coie, received $312,000 for June thru December 2008, and 77k according to the post-general report (10/16 to 11/24).
Added to the $688k for the Jan to Mar 2009, and BINGO! you have a well over $ONE MILLION DOLLARS OF CAMPAIGN FUNDS going to Bauer to fight eligibility lawsuits.

It appears not all the legal fees may accrue to the eligibility suits, since Bauer serves personally and presidentially, so I think it would be difficult to dissect,
and they aren’t disclosing which category. I have little doubt they’ll go down any more specifically than this .. another purposeful, confounded condundrum, IMO.
Well, that certainly puts the stake in the heart of the idiots/trolls who assert he’s spent nothing ‘cause there’s no “proof”.
And from what I’ve read he’s hired more than just this one lawyer/firm.
