Ice is expanding in much of Antarctica, contrary to the widespread public belief that global warming is melting the continental ice cap.
The results of ice-core drilling and sea ice monitoring indicate there is no large-scale melting of ice over most of Antarctica, although experts are concerned at ice losses on the continent's western coast.
Antarctica has 90 percent of the Earth's ice and 80 percent of its fresh water, The Australian reports. Extensive melting of Antarctic ice sheets would be required to raise sea levels substantially, and ice is melting in parts of west Antarctica. The destabilization of the Wilkins ice shelf generated international headlines this month.

It’s not going to fly. If the Government passes cap and trade based on this hoax science then people will be paying at least 50% more for electricity and only then will the real uprising begin.

Of course global warming is a hoax...so was global freezing back in the seventies...remember when Toronto was going to be buried under permanent ice by 2000? How the government needed to become involved? All those terrible books by Paul Erlich.
This is the same thing on a bigger scale...only this time the DNC and their media (most of it) are behind the push. They have to find a way to take over the economy through bureaucratic fiat.
Don’t think it will work. Latest polls show about 38% of the American people believe in global warming. Given the huge media push for this nonsense...it appears they are failing.

I must disagree with that characterization. Hoaxes are, for the most part, harmless pranks. I prefer to describe global warming as a scam.

Fear not. This is further evidence of CLIMATE CHANGE.
You see any change — melting, freezing, hotter, colder, more snow, less snow, more rain, less rain — is caused by manmade greenhouse gases.
Damn, and I was so looking forward to beach front property here in Colorado. Oh well, maybe I can turn my back yard into a ski resort.
No problem, when it gets colder they will just tax CO2 emmisions because it makes the planet cooler

I know someone that doubts this.
