Doesn’t that make him a “sore winner”?

It’s really simple...all the Tea Parties are about is restoring the Constitution. Article 1 section 8 states exactly what the Federal government has a charter to do, they have gone far beyond that charter. We need to enforce the contract.

The president's economic recovery package offers a 95 percent tax cut for all working American families.

YeeHaw! I could use a 95 percent tax cut. I think that the actual talking point is "a tax cut for 95% of all American families," although that is B.S. as well.

All these idiots are doing is just pissing folks off even more by their sneers and snarky innuendoes. If they keep it up, they’re going to find themselves mighty surprised and saddened on election night 2010 and then 2012.

The author of this article is so clueless. It’s called fatal blindness for a reason.

Another loser who doesn’t get it.

Letter I sent to the editor of my local paper:

I’m going to tax you $100, but I’m going to take the money and burn it in front of you. How does that make you feel about taxes? What if I give you a $10 tax cut, but still burn it the remaining $90? Does that make you feel any better about how your tax dollars are being “spent?”

This is what many critics of the Tea Parties don’t understand: the problem is not with paying taxes.

* The problem is frivolous pork-barrel spending
* The problem is spending bills that are never actually read by Congress
* The problem is the size and scope of bailout spending - and the fact that the bailouts could be used as an excuse to nationalize some industries
* The problem is a deficit that has ballooned out of control since the Democrats took back Congress in 2006 (Remember, it is Congress, not the President, who holds the power of the purse.)
* The problem is giving *income* tax rebates to individuals who never paid *income* tax in the first place
* The problem is using taxes to redistribute wealth
* The problem is using the tax code to perform social engineering, like telling us what kind of car to buy
* The problem is using taxes collected from U.S. citizens to pay for services to illegal aliens
* The problem is pretending to tax corporations when we all know that corporations simply pass that cost on to the consumer
* The problem is moving towards a system where only a minority of voters pay a compulsory income tax
* The problem is a tax code that is so complicated, even the Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee can’t figure it out
* The problem is a tax system that punishes hard work and rewards sloth
* The problem is a tax system that discourages investment and industry
* The problem is a tax system that can make a criminal out of virtually anyone, even Cabinet appointees
* The problem is paying taxes to a government that is monetizing debt at an alarming rate

Tea Party protestors understand the need for taxes. We understand the need for a strong military, good schools, and paved roads. We believe there are better ways to levy taxes - like a national sales tax or the Fair Tax. We’re not willing to give up our freedom for the illusion of temporary economic stability.

The rally in Charlotte was a good start for those in the metro area. I encourage everyone to fight for restoring sanity to Washington and the budget, regardless of party affiliation.

The rallies outside McCain-Palin events included the same kind of bile that is now seen at the tea parties; charges of fascism, Nazism, communism (sometimes strangely lumped together), terrorism, heresy, racial inferiority and other malicious or threatening criticisms.

And this is an outright LIE!!!

It IS something much deeper and darker than an earnest desire for fiscal reform. It’s an earnest desire to prevent America from eroding into a European nanny state ruled by UN treaties and wealth redistributors. It’s an earnest desire not to become a Godless, gunless nation of welfare recipients grateful to be left scraps of freedom. It’s an earnest desire not to bankrupt future generations with the spending to buy pork with Chinese money. It’s a whole bunch of American people who see trouble ahead on the tracks and who are trying to stop this train.

ever more clearly,we see the Leftist Delusion: Their ideas are self-evidentally right and true. Therefore, anyone who disents from their slogans, heros and programs must have an ulterior motive: racism; ruling elites threated by reform (never mind that the bailouts we protested were rescues of the wealthy, financial elites, who turned out, on examination, to be closely linked to the Clinton Administration and to Democratic leaders in Congress); “right-wing-extreamists” (a convenient pigeon-hole for anyone who disagrees with them, whose views and programs do not have to be described, much less debated and refuted; everyone knows what they mean).

I keep saying: treat us like enemies, and you will make enemies of us. And that’s a BAD idea.

images from the events have too often been racially offensive

These people are just plain mentally ill.

Smiling, polite and well behaved people asking for the government to stop borrowing and spending are racially offense. Who would have thought?

"They hate change. They fear reform."

Couldn't be more wrong. In fact, the TEA movement is all about change/reform -- specifically, tax reform and gov't spending reform.

I logged on to this disgusting site and posted the following: “This seems to be a very one-sided forum where all seem to happily agree and dissent is unwelcome. Therefore, I will provide a perspective of dissent.

I did not participate in a “Tea Party” due to other commitments, but I strongly agree with the sentiments, sentiments lost on most of you who have commented thus far and who are sorely misinformed about the basis of these protests. The “sheeple” are you folks who are following Obama over the cliff of massive debt for programs that will only reduce individual freedom and result in future taxation that you could never have imagined. Bush’s deficit spending pales in comparison to what is currently invisioned. Get a clue people. Obama won by 7% because the middle of the country wanted change. They didn’t want socialism and runaway spending and taxation. Obama’s out of the closet now as a far left radical. He will not be reelected and these “Tea-Parties” are just the beginning of the protests that will be coming.

You old peace protestors are about to see what it’s like to be on the other side of the march. I have a right to free speech and to protest government action just as you do. If you cannot argue the issues and can only resort to name calling, you’ve lost the debate at the onset.”

I am so sick of these vile perverts refering to TEA (taxed enough already) parties as "teabaggers". Yeah, we get it. You think dismissing protests against what you are doing to our country's economy and our children's future, with a word that describes a homosexual sex act, is a real hoot. Oh, aren't you so clever!

Every time I see the term, it reinforces just how vile and juvenile you people really are. This behavior is going to begin to wear on a lot of the non-liberal members of the population who helped elect Barak Obama to the Presidency. When they pulled the lever for Obama last November, you had promised them change and hope. You are delivering a devistating debt and responding to public anger about a serious issue with the most sophmoric of behavior. Many will come to realize that it was a mistake to entrust such smarmy juveniles with political power. Your behavior will give birth to many new Republicans.

What we have here is The Ministry of Truth in full swing.

This is not the first story, and it will not be the last time by any means.

Such total rot needs something more significant than a Barf Alert. Please consider adding [MiniTrue] to headlines of stories that are, in your opinion, total propaganda.

“The big-money entities pulling the levers behind the curtain are the same fringe religious right enablers that protect the entrenched beltway parasites.”

No footnote to go along with this charge? But you must have loads of documentary evidence.

“charges of fascism, Nazism, communism (sometimes strangely lumped together)”

Not so strange. Fascist Mussolini was a self-proclaimed socialist. “Nazi” derives its name from the National Socialist German Workers Party.
