Check out the video on the Today show of Miss California, Carrie Prejean, claiming it wasn't about being politically correct but "biblically correct." She said it goes against what she stands for. She said she wouldn't change a thing and that she has a purpose and knows now she can go out to young people about standing out for what you believe in and stand up for what you believe in for anyone or anything even if it is for the crown of Miss USA.

No one seems to have pointed out the biggest detractor and offender here; the one who gives a huge 'black-eye' to the pageant itself; the 'judge'. His crassness; his lack of professionalism; and his grossly confusing the pageant mission with his own agenda.

Who the heck put this loser in a 'Judges' seat to begin with? Does not speak well for anyone here; nor his 'judging peers' either. And why; would any political question be part of a pageant?

Outrageous; no matter how you look at this one.

The Pageant had better respond, IMHO. . .against this 'judge' - so-called.

That said, kudos to Carrie Prejean! She remains the winner that she was; before this pageant even began.

You have a good point on this one. Perez Hilton is a God hater and he probably knew Miss California went to a Christian college. He thinks he sabotaged her chances at winning but she now has a bigger platform than she would have ever had as Miss USA. God has a funny sense of humor.

She's been catapulted to more fame than she could have dreamed of as Miss America. Now she's better known than whoever was the actual "winner" of the "beauty" pageant.

And, she'll have more appearances and speech-making opportunities than the winner. And, she'll be a whole lot more popular and better known than that idiot who dared ask the question and didn't like the answer. She gave the right answer, but Perez had only one answer in mind.

She's coming out way ahead of Perez and even more ahead than the winner, whoever she was. In reality, the only winner from that pageant will end up being Miss California.

I see a very bright future for her.

It appears the odds were stacked against her with some of the other judges as well. One of the other judges, a former beauty queen herself, said she agreed with “Perez”, who's real name is Mario Lavandeira (Perez is his phony name). The other judges are hiding under his skirt and letting him do the mouthing off.

Carrie Prejean is truly a beautiful young woman, but more importantly, a Godly woman. She is a great example to young woman everywhere.
