I think it is their right to do so.
The time will come when it will come.
I 100% favor and support the rebuilding of the Temple. Not for any religious reasons, and not as a matter of geopolitics. I have much better cause. Once reopened the Temple must be sanctified by animal sacrifice. PETA will freak.
Bulldoze that tacky gold eyesore, and rebuild away!
Israel gets surprise attacked, and their response is to hand their most sacred site back over to their attackers as soon as the attack ended?
It’s very telling how the Muslims are sitting on one of the most archaeologically-rich points on the globe, and their response is to ban any excavation except for the occasions where they think they’ve found something Jewish and promptly destroy it.
Way to step out of the 10th century.
This is great news. Demolish that ugly dome of junk and rebuild the temple over the mosque. I am sure that Dubai can build a replica in under a month and stick it in the ocean or something.
I have a feeling these stories exist to falsely portray Israel as a fanatic theocracy. This creates a deceptive impression of moral equivalence with muslim extremists.
After all it is Israel who gave the Temple Mount to the Wakf as a gesture of peace.
For your End Times ping list.
The prophet said . . . do not despise small beginnings.
"Haredim and families from our crowd have large families. Also, there are growing numbers of newly religious families. There is a deep feeling that people want the redemption to arrive already. And part of that process will be the rebuilding of the Temple."
This is the most significant part of the article! When God's chosen Israel cries out for the Lord in unity, then He will come.
Baruch Ha Ba B'Shem Adonai! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!!! What an amazing time to be alive and see the redemption and returning of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Wow.
IT DID OVER 2000 YEARS AGO!
Hebrews 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. Hebrews 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
